We've eaten at Bongo Johnny's on each of our 3 visits to Palm Springs. The food is consistently very good! The staff is amazingly polite and accommodating. We're from out of town. Walked in on a Monday late afternoon, not expecting much, but we saw $7 bottomless champagne so we said why not. Came for fiancé's birthday the plan was to get a drink & snack and find a place for a nice dinner with good food. We started with the beef nachos, it was definitely one of the better ones we had so we decided to stay and order entrees. We had the prime rib sandwich which cane with cream of mushroom soup, both were delicious. We also had the lobster ravioli and it was also good. Service was also great, different servers came to fill our champagne glasses and were really nice and friendly ! We also enjoyed a lava cake with vanilla ice cream. This definitely will be one of our spots moving forward when in town!

This was my third time to Bongo Johnny’s. We went for an early lunch on a Monday. We wanted a table on the patio in the shade. It was the first time I sat on the back patio. I prefer the front, but it was quieter. The bottomless mimosas is a great deal at $7, however, they charge $4 for the juice! The menu’s were very off-putting as they were old, torn and appeared dirty. We both got the Crab Cake Benedict and Hash Browns. The food was excellent, as was the service. They put a bottle of bubbly in an ice bucket next to the table to keep it cold. And someone came around regularly to fill our glasses. The service was amazing! This is why I’ll be back soon with my friends from Denver when they visit.

We've always loved this place, a tradition. We'd stopped going as it had gone downhill. However we went there and it was good again. Jennifer was there and was so sweet and attentive. The food was good and well prepared. Atmopshere was as we remembered it. Yay!

A good location to go if other places are busy. Excellent service, our waiter and our host were so kind and attentive. Asked for medium burger but it was grey and dry. Onion rings were great. Boyfriend got a pasta dish but the sauce was pretty bland. Sides and drinks were all good. The table we were at was very sticky and the window we were next to had a mystery substance on it.
