From buying the tickets online to purchasing popcorn and of course the very well spacious theater, our experience was by far the best. I loved the old fashion look of the theater and how cozy my family and I felt during the movie.

Probably one of the worst web sites around. You need to literally drive over to see features and buy tickets.

We had wonderful tickets 2 see Randy Rainbow. The seating hosts were wonderful directing people in a solid out venue to their correct seats.

Wonderful venue for live performances. Comfortable seats and good viewing in an intimate theater.

Shows independent films and is the home of Palm Springs Film festival. Comfy seats. They provide the usual suspects and also have food and alcohol. Great place to catch unique films.

I went last night to see "Rider" which was a great movie but the experience was severely lessened because they left the wall lights on during the entire movie. Additionally, the floor lights delineating the aisles were much too bright during the movie which is very distracting if you are sitting in an aisle seat. The commercials before the movie started were deafeningly loud; so loud that I had to leave the theater (#2) and return at the start of the film. The theater stank of body odors and there was debris in the aisles. Lastly, the men's room was filthy. C'mon, Camelot, get your act together.

I love this theater!!! So happy to have an amazing place to go see indie films. You can always find a great movie playing, and now that the Palm Springs Cultural Center is running the operations, you can also frequently find some awesome events too! This is one of our favorite "Date Night" places to go, and not not because they have the best popcorn in town, because it is cool, the people are friendly and it is a community movie theater at it's best! We are so lucky to have this place!

We called ahead to find out if they had captioning devices for the deaf and hard of hearing and found out that they do not! If you need such a device to enjoy a film do not go to this theatre!

Worst dining experience ever. At least try to satisfy the customer, we are not picky. We had reservations for 6:30 with plans to attend the movie downstairs at 8. When we walked in, it appeared that the staff clearly didn't have a clue. We had to be asked to be seated. At 6:45. Someone came by with glasses of water and said that should hold us over until our drink order came out. We explained we didn't have a drink order, we were waiting on someone to take our oders. At 6:58 we flagged down a waitress and asked if she could please take our order. She absolutely looked clueless. She said what do we want to drink and we said we just wanted to order food so we can get to the movie on time. At 7:20 no food had come out so we flagged down a guy and asked when we might be getting it and if we could get some more water. We were told that it was obvious that everyone decided to come in at the same time and they were doing what they could, but he would check. He came back at 7:28 and said it would be 10 min. That we were up next. Our food finally came at 7:45 and was terrible. I am still repeating the meatloaf this am. Good thing that we didn't linger enjoying it since the movie was ready to start. We had to beg to be checked out. Our server asked where we were sitting and what we had! She never once came over to the table other than to take our order. My dinner fork was a salad fork only looked smaller. I asked for an adult dinner fork and was brought the same thing. I know they had regular forks because everyone else had one. The movie theater was great. The seating was comfortable and very clean. I will come back to the movies, but never back to the cafe. The menu should not be so big that they can't get the food out.

Was turned away tonight at the door because we were five minutes late. Incredulously, I asked if they were serious. The young man with glasses behind the snack bar replied: "The till is closed. We have to get ready to close and the till is closed." He turned away another couple who came in a minute after us. Interesting someone would be there for the rest of the movie, but no one could sell us a ticket. Memorable way to lose customers.

I went here to watch some of the movies for the 2016 Palm Springs International Film Fest. The theater was clean, the service was friendly and there was sufficient parking. They have a small bar and menu if you want more than popcorn before the show.

Camelot Cafe was our regular place to dine at least once a week for the last couple of years. However, I believe that may have to change. Since Chef Hector left, the establishment has gone down hill. The food quality has gone down to sometimes actually "poor." But the worse problem is that the service is terrible. For instance, last night we arrived at the cafe a few minutes after our friends, sat down and the waitress brought menus, but never asked us for our drink order (our friends had theirs already.) I asked may I have a Martini? She said sure and was walking away without ever asking my spouse what he wanted. After dinner, we were never approached about deserts or coffee. I once again asked for a cup of coffee. The waitress said sure and walked away without asking the other three people if they wanted anything. My coffee never came-just the check. My fish and chips were served in a plastic basket, yet someone at another table ordered the same thing and it came on a plate. This is just one night's experience. I could go on and on about the six to eight weeks. Want to order drinks from the bar? Don't expect an olive in the Martini or a cherry in your Manhattan, because the odds are good they will tell you, "Sorry we are out of that." The server will ask how you want your hamburger cooked, but no matter what you say it is only served well done. When brought to the waitstaff's attention all you get is, "Oh, I am sorry to hear that." A couple of weeks ago the server who brought the food up from the kitchen has such a bad odor on him that it ruined the meal. Save yourself a trip. BTW-best of luck trying to figure out how to make a reservation. Web site take you to a phone message for Chef Hector's catering (no longer there.) Call the movie number and get transferred to the Cafe's voice mail. Leave a message making reservation and you will be told, "oh, we never received that."

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Palm Springs. How funny, that it is inside a movie theater, but very convenient! I love the Chili! The fish and chips are the best I've ever had. One time I ordered them, it took quite a while. It turned out the chef wasn't happy with the first two times he cooked them! The Chinese Chicken salad is another favorite. The breakfasts during farmers market are a great deal, and very delicious. The New York bagel is fabulous. I had the best hot chocolate ever there during one of the film festivals. I could go on and on. I just love the place.

We like the ambiance of being able to eat before or after the film. The food is above average with specials. Happy hour available.
