“I apologize but I have been going to get food at this location ever since they opened. I should have given a review from the start, but I wanted to wait until I truly experienced all of what they have to offer. All I have to say is, AMAZING. Everything from their carnitas tacos to carne asada nachos is the best. I can say I even drink their hot sauce lol. You want food that gives every bang for the buck, you need to go here. They are such wonderful people to deal with, which makes it even better.“

“Located in the Caliente Tropic resort. Same building as the reef but more low key and better lighting. Walk through Gauchos restaurant and arrive at Le Fern. If your lucky you get a seat at the bar and get to talk with Matty. No draft beers but beer offerings are kept cold and provided with chilled glass. We enjoyed Mattys company and listening to his stories about past work lifes. We also ordered calamari which I would pass on next time. Was expecting rings and got calamari in shape of tootsie roll. All in all a very nice time and place to have a beverage or two.“

“I am giving a low score because the manager, Matt, was rude and insensitive to our situation. On March 25,2024 at 140 pm, we arrived at the restaurant. Me and my husband are 70 years old. Because My husband walks extremely slow due to a bad knee,my husband dropped my off while he parked. I rushed to the restaurant to check in before they close at two pm. I was met by a man , later known as Matt (manager). I asked for a seat for two. Matt told me he cannot seat me until my husband arrive and that they are about to close. I told him my husband was parking the vehicle and will join me soon. Matt said no, both parties have to be present before he can seat me. Knowing my husband is disabled and slow walking, I then asked Matt to seat me for one and that I will order my husbands food when I’m seated . Matt told me ‘that’s not gonna happen’. I said okay but can you tell me your name. That’s when Matt became extremely rude and said he wasn’t giving me his name and that it doesn’t matter. He then walked away and disappeared in the back, leaving me outside the restaurant alone. I walked in the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager. The waiters told me the man that walked away was the manager. I then asked for his name and asked to speak with him. At this point, it’s 145 pm and my husband is with me. The waiter told me his name was Matt. However, Matt refused to come out and speak with me. We ordered and ate our food and left before the last customer left . Unfortunately, we did not enjoy the food as much due to this unnecessary incident. Matt needs sensitivity training when dealing with elderly disabled customers.Follow up.I called the Palm desert location and spoke with management (Nick). He listened to my concerns, allowing me to speak as long as I wanted . lol. He then immediately and sincerely apologized to me on behalf of himself and the owners. He further stated that management nor the owners condone that type of behavior and stated their staff will be trained/informed on understanding the needs and/ or issues elderly customers may have . I really appreciated his sincerity on this matter and can’t wait to return. No problem with the food , it’s always delicious . Nick further invited me and my husband back to either location to show us they are making the appropriate adjustments and to ensure we enjoy our time there. Thank you to the management and owners. We went to the palm desert location and received personalized service from management. We throughly enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere.“

“If you’re looking for late night, food, this place is amazing. I’m a huge fan of macaroni and cheese and when I saw this place, I immediately fell in love. They have some of the coolest, macaroni and cheese combinations I’ve ever seen. They’re also open super late which is really nice.I ended up ordering a short rib, macaroni and cheese with Munster cheese, and it was amazing. My partner ended up getting a bacon and tomato grilled cheese sandwich, which was one of the best I have ever had. They also have desserts.Parking can be found around the back and this is actually pretty close to some nearby bars and restaurants. So if you go out to a bar, you can plan on coming here afterwards and soaking up some of the Alchohol.Overall a really good place to stop and I loved it because I love macaroni cheese and these guys do it really well“
