Stopped by for dinner last night since we were downtown at the festival. Basic menu with lots to choose from. My wife liked her grilled cheese and I my garlic wings. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you, so there was not much service interaction. Prices are typical Palm Springs. Not bad.

Sunday May 1, 2022 my sister, friend and I went to Palm Springs. We shop, went to the casino and had lunch. We order our food @ 12:24pm. We were waiting awhile for the food. So after 1:00 my sister went to the window to ask what's going on with the food? The cashier said the register receipt didn't go to the kitchen. It was broken on our order only (no paper). So he said 15 minutes more for are food. My sister came back to the table with some fries and said 15 minutes for are food. She asked for the manager he wasn't there. We spoke to Antonio after we received our food. He said he will take it off my card for the payment. My sandwich was a pull pork sandwich with fries. My sister had a sandwich with fries and my friend had fish and chips. My sandwich didn't look like the sandwich on the menu. My sister sandwich was warm (just cook) and my friend fish wasn't good. I appreciate Antonio he said the were short staff do to the events happening out there so he called in the cashier who help us. It was his day off. He needed to have his off day because he wasn't a good worker that day.

We came here for a good margarita because we heard they make really good drinks. I asked if they had Herradurq tequila. She said yea they have herradurq reposada. I was so happy and ordered three drinks with it; 2 margaritas and one tequila sunrise. Total was $47. The drinks come out and they are SOOOO weak. I mean SUPER WEAK like you couldnt taste the tequila at all, and very clear in color so no tint of a reposadq in the margaritas. My friend went back to the bar and asked to buy a shot of the Herradura to add it to our drink, and the bartender says they don't have Herradura !!!! They made our drinks with patron silver which I am not a fan of, and he proceeded to SELL my friend the patron shot. Didn't offer it free since they behaved fraudulently by passing off the patron as Herradura. Disgusting way of doing business. No apology offered either. My husband didn't drink his sunrise because it tasted like fruit punch. Gross. They lost three customers and all that I tell the story to.

This was our first visit to Palm Springs CA.we arrived a little before noon and walked the downtown area. We were hungry but didn’t want to eat big. Stopped in and ordered a hotdog and a hamburger. Along with a beer and a Palm Springs Lemonade.. Both the hotdog & hamburger were very good. I had ordered the beer and my wife the Lemonade, the lemonade was excellent. Next round, we both had Palm Springs Lemonade. This place isn’t fancy but has great character. Great location, friendly staff. Would differently go again.

On a gorgeous spring day in Palm Springs, Crazy Mel's is like an oasis for lazy legs needing an easy sit down, with good food and drink, and wonderful servers. I loved my local draft beer choice mid-day to accompany their classic Chicken Sandwich with complimentary sweet potato fries on the side. Chicken was perfectly cooked and spiced, the bread was fresh and outside table service wonderful.

I ordered a side of onion rings and a side of sweet potato fries, the price on the menu online was not the price quoted. When I went to pick up order, the owner came over when I questioned to price difference and said that he had not updated his online menu, then added that it really didn’t matter because the prices were going up again, anyway !To add insult to injury, the fries were cold and limp and the onion rings were greasy and soggy, needless to say I took it all back and that will be the last time I ever go there. You lost a customer Crazy Mel’s, not only will I not be eating there again, my team ( I am manager at a downtown store ) will not either.I am also in the position to recommend places to customers that come into my store, not only will I Not recommend Crazy Mel’s, I will actively steer people away .Peace out, Crazy Mel

Mel's has been on my to-do list for a couple of years, so tried it today. It's now on my don't go back list. The picture for the Italian grilled cheese looked wonderful. Well, as is often the case, reality was a different story. Nowhere near as much meat filling as shown in the picture, and very bland tasting. The charge for the non-cheese filling is a bit steep for what you get. In addition, the mustard/ketchup bottles were filthy. The staff is pleasant, though. Oh, and I didn't notice the 4% "restaurant service fee" on the charge slip until later. What is that for?

What a blessing coming down and enjoying a Mel's crazy classic double burger. The experience was outstanding customer service over the top. Every time it's a new experience and great view of Palm spring mountain. Thank You Mel and staff for your support... Special Thanks to MeMe & Super Dave

My first time here and I'm typing this after eating my cold sandwich that should have been hot . No prices on some menu items and also wrong as with the sandwiches from side but it says that you don't. When I got here the poor person who was taking my order also had to make drinks and serve food and it wasn't for 20 more minutes when one more person arrived who wasn't helping him do anything. Person making the food did not notify the person who is taking orders my food was ready so the grilled cheese was cold!!! Yes it came out cold and it wasn't until I was almost done eating yet the server was able to see if I wanted it fixed. The tomatoes were not ripe so maybe they were hot house. The floor was dirty and the condiments add Addison not been cleaned or feel quite a long time as some of the tops were clogged. I hope the person who took my order is looking for a new job I can find a better place to work.

A fun and quirky stop in downtown Palm Springs. Excellent service! Good drinks! And a fun and friendly staff. :-)

The vegan patty was really good but not actually vegan. It had Swiss and thousand island dressing on.The fried green beans were really interesting. First time I have seen it at a burger place. I would highly recommend ordering them

Weird experience. My husband and I walked in for some appetizers and a drink, only to leave abruptly. The drink was crazy expensive for a place like this, we felt unwelcomed, after we received our drinks, nothing else after that. We weren’t approached any longer. I repeatedly saw the server look at us, so we just asked for our bill and left. And to clarify, I really did feel unwelcome here. I don’t recommend this place.

Great spot to grab a classic burger and fries. Although I would definitely recommend the onion rings!!! Cool games to play around the patio too. Good spot for a quick bite then go walk it off around downtown Palm Springs.

The food was below average. Staff was friendly, but I doubt I could recommend this place to anyone for the food. We ordered the double cheese burger and the chicken burger. Chicken was over cooked. And both the burgers soggy.
