Food was not good… maybe in a pinch, but not if you’re hungry! The fries were the only decent thing. Only serves food until 4pm

Cute little hotel with comfy beds and clean rooms! Would definitely stay here again! The pool was clean and was relaxing to lay out by! Definitely a great value compared to other stays in Palm Springs

Modern, trendy, cheap and dirty. From the outside this place looks like a very hip and modern hotel. Once you get inside your room, you notice the sticky surfaces on furniture, loud wall AC unit, lack of regular house keeping, and ridiculous nickel and diming. I can’t believe they charge $50 to have your room cleaned and this is the result. Parking is another ridiculous $15. Don’t pay for this, there is plenty of street parking and they are too cheap and understaffed to check their own parking lot. Don’t be fooled by the slick appearances if you value any kind of standard hotel services.

Stayed here with my husband and had an amazing time! The restaurant is very nice and trendy. The rooms are very clean & modern. Could use some sprucing up of furniture and carpet but overall a great value for the room. Bed was very comfortable. Pool & drinks half the time! Cant go wrong here!

Came to town for work! Absolutely love this place. Always my go to. Friendly staff, clean rooms, great vibe, lots to do in town. The pools are awesome. Waitstaff and music make it chill. Plenty to do here without leaving.

The size of the suite was perfect. Having two separate rooms made relaxing in the room very comfortable. The kitchenette, microwave, coffee maker and fridge counter was great to keep our snacks and drinks available for our stay. Also having a spacious bathroom made getting ready to hit the town great. The attached restaurant to the "V" is great, but they wouldn't serve us on the "V" side of the restaurant, even though they have a really nice bar and table area for the "V" guests. We were told by one server to wait as we sat at the outside bar, but then a secund server came up to us and said " this isn't going to happen, if you want to get served you're going to need to come around inside of the restaurant!". Very rude. The outside pool area is nice and clean and has what you need to chill out by the pool. The room, 425, could use a little updating but overall, it was really conducive for a relaxing weekend. Bed was comfy too! The location was very close to the downtown strip area which made it the perfect Palm Springs location. We will definitely be back.

Carey with really nice to tell us about Palm Springs and where to go and walk around. He also notified us if we need any other help that they were there to help out an anything he dedicated his time explain. And yes pillows are so fluffy and had a goodnight sleep the two nights. Thanks

I chose to stay here because it was recommended by a friend getting married in the area but I did not ultimately feel comfortable in the location. Everything is done by phone and doors unlock with a code (like an Airbnb). While the sheets and towels and space overall appeared clean, there was a heavy layer of dust/particles on the AC unit which blew across the room and my belongings when turned on. The club downstairs was extremely loud into the night and kept me awake as a jet-lagged traveler. The view was gorgeous (as it would be from anywhere in Palm Springs), but I was otherwise not at all impressed by my stay and I would not stay here or in another Sonder again. The same amount of money is better spent at a hotel, even a basic chain like a Mariott or Hilton.

Stay away from this property! We had stayed at the V in the past and had a wonderful experience. Now that it is managed by Sonder, it is NOT operated as a hotel. Our experience was so horrible, I could write a novel, so I will limit myself with bullet points: 1. We paid more for a specific ground level room because of the size and spaciousness. The front desk admitted that they 'trick' the public by overbooking these rooms with their algorhythm. We were told that they were fully booked and needed to take a smaller upstairs room. 2. We told them that one in our group had mobility issues and there was no elevator in the building. Again, the front desk (who seemed like they were checking people into a dorm or airbnb and not a hotel) just shrugged and said there was nothing they could do. She acutally just said "i can refund you and you can not stay here" 3. Their attitude was horrible and service was very subpar. The staff seemed very upset with Sonder and blamed it all on the company. We decided to stay the night because we couldn't find a decent hotel opening that night. We went out to dinner and then came back to our room. My friend found a bug that looked like a bed bug. We took it downstairs and the man at the desk LITERALLY said to us "what do you want me to do about it!!" He said there was no housekeeping on sight. And usually they would just move us out of the room, but there was no vacancy. He literally was upset with us for complaining about a bedbug. We found a new hotel and moved out. I went downstairs to make sure that they refunded us. They gave the runaround how they could not do it and needed corporate to take care of it. I had to call several times that week to make sure that we were not charged. Even when they refunded me, it was at a lower rate than what I paid---and then had to fight for the right amount. Stay far far away and do not give money to Sonder.

This was such a great poolside bar. It’s located inside the Sonder V hotel and the drinks are great. My favorite cocktail from Elixir is the watermelon splash. It was super refreshing and the bartender was really nice. When I was there, they were only serving drinks so we didn’t get to try the food

Extremely clean and gorgeous property. Two pools to choose from, both with walk up bar/restaurant. Very luxurious. Beds were so comfortable. Pool area was not overcrowded at all. Plan on coming back!

What a great experience we had! As a bit of an introvert, I appreciate the self check in/out. Before we arrived we had a bit of an issue and it was resolved through the app very quickly. I am 100% satisfied with our trip and will definitely stay here again. On a side note, the view from our room was amazing and I can’t wait to come back and enjoy the pool!

Firstly, the staff is amazing. Carey is your go-to guy for whatever you need from dinner recommendations, the best local coffee shop (btw it's Koffi, just down the street), local travel, and he is pretty entertaining as well. Philip and Casey were also always around to address any needs. All the staff were super friendly! It was a little cool in the mornings, the hot tub was a great way to start the day, with hummingbirds flying around. The music at the pool was nice - in the 300 and 400 block of rooms are facing the family pool, which appeared to be the quieter side of the resort while we were there (however we admittedly did not spend any time on the other side of the property as we were really enjoying where we were). The restaurant is on that side of the resort, the music is a bit loud on the weekends but it shuts down by 10 to 10:30 pm, so that was not an issue at all. The beds were cozy, the wifi/internet was strong, lots of towels in the room. If you are on the ground floor you have easy access to the pool, if you are on the second floor you have a nicer view overlooking the pool but you have to walk out the back and down the stairs. There is also filtered water available at all of the ice machine stations. The building is 70 years old with extensive updates, that said, there were a few minor issues. On our last night there a person with a heavy foot step was above us and seemed to only sleep for a few hours, not unexpected in a hotel. Some of the plugs in the room did not work, but as I understand it they are working on that issue. Finally, our shower head needed repair the first day were were there and that was taken care of right away. Very pleased with the speedy and unintrusive repair. Thank you Sonder, Carey, Philip and Casey for making our getaway awesome!
