It took over an hour to just get our food. Service was terrible and it's overpriced for what it is. With so many other great restaurants in the area, would not recommend.

Outdoor dining in the shade. Atmosphere was relaxed and food was great. The food tastes is light but flavorful, I prefer heavier taste usually, but it is enjoyable once in a while.

Great French and Japanese food, especially the passion fruit crème brûlée. Note that it is not a fusion restaurant. Their menu clearly has a French side and a Japanese side. The two cuisines are domestic partner without kids.

If you plan ahead of time to come here, do so without any expectations.Service is okay for a busy weekend, food was nothing exceptional. We loved it was secluded in the alley and very quiet. They were out of 2 items in the menu.

The atmosphere is just superb. Such a lovely and romantic place to brunch. We looked at the menu and specifically came for the pork ginger, which unfortunately the waiter communicated they were out of it. They were out of gravlax which was also sad, that was my partner’s choice. We chose the chicken paillard which was actually good, but not really what we came for

What a cute little café. We were really excited to try. Upon arrival the service was very good. As soon as we sat down we ordered the brut and it was said they were out of the champagne. So we ordered the other one while she mentioned that they were out of 2 dishes on the menu (they probably have 5 ?). We ordered the options available and 2 pain au chocolate. Few minutes passed by when she communicates they just ran out of the pain au chocolate. While speaking the waiter serves it to another table. That was hard to swallow, my kids were very disappointed and so was I. I actually canceled my ordered paid for the glass of champagne. So disappointing, not sure if it’s a new restaurant, but if you ran out of many things and it wasn’t even 11:30AM. Hopefully they will fix their inventory by beginning of Summer

Great food and atmosphere. The owner Eric was super nice.

Our server disappeared for must of our evening; entree took way too long to be served; no one asked about our meal - and it was a challenge even to have water glasses refreshed. Even reaching out to owner to get our check was not successful - nor was owner empathetic to our comments about the service . Truly unfortunate as ambience is fabulous but service needs a makeover.

on a side street steps from La Plaza in downtown Palm Springs , but quiet and secluded so you feel miles away from the hustle and bustle! The chef makes delicious food, some french some asian and some an interesting combination of the two. Quiches are exquisite here as are the lightly dressed salads for lunch, which is what our party of four experienced at French Miso Cafe 3/8/24. Service was superb, with the chef himself checking with us to make sure we were happy with our meals. A hidden neighborhood gem

My first visit to French Miso and will be returning no doubt. Charming space and very accommodating staff. Host was flexible with chance of rain moving us to an inside table but we ended up breaking the chances and had a lovely time at our small outdoor table. It felt like a little bistro en Provence. The menu was well rounded and I had many options as pescatarian. The Panang broth with perfectly steamed mussels had us requesting extra baguette to get to the remaining pool beneath the mountain of mussels. My mate had the scallops with risotto that was Absolutely delicious and risotto prepared with skill. I had the bento and salmon was a change from the Scottish selections I usually find in PS. Great flavors, bonito tofu and tasty flavored accoutrements of asparagus and mushroom medley. We started with a glass of crisp Sancerre from their list then had a gifted bottle of wine corked at entree course! Our server was attentive but gave us good space to enjoy our meal and each-other. Passing through the corridor where we were seated did not seem it would feel so removed and intimate but to our surprise it absolutely was just the two of us! This would be a perfect romantic date spot. Thanks French Miso for our lovely experience!

Three of us dined at French Miso last night and had a delightful experience. It's a tiny bit hard to find, but in a very charming spot just off La Plaza (Google says to enter via Arenas- not correct.) We dined inside and it was a small and charming room. Almost like being in a warm living room with terrific modern artwork. Our server was charming and down to earth. Just perfect. The cuisine was super good. We shared the gyoza appetizer (veg) which was delish. Just not a huge portion but very tasty. We had a Banto box which was also very good- although the cured salmon was a tiny bit dry for me (just not my favorite style), but it was delicious. The veggies was great, and the tofu and miso soup as well. We also had the scallops and risotto which was amazing. The chicken and mashed potatoes were also stellar. A couple glasses of excellent wine too. Sadly we were too stuffed for desert. The bill came to about $150. Will definitely return!

What a pleasant surprise. We've lived here for a couple years, but somehow missed French Miso. The food is French/Asian inspired, reasonably priced for the quality (top-notch) and the setting intimate and beautiful. It was so good that we just rebooked for a special occasion dinner coming up in a couple weeks. This could become our new go-to spot.
