Had a good time. Waitress was very nice and gave us free desert for waiting. Drinks and food were good - maybe a tad pricey. Atmosphere was fun but a little loud. No wait time when we went. We would go back for sure.

We had an excellent dining experience at Lulu's California Bistro in Palm Springs, California. The food was delicious and flavorful. The service was great. Our waiter was helpful, informative, and outgoing. We did not eat dessert here. We had another place in mind.Appetizer- Portobello Mushroom TowerWith spinach, quinoa, Marinara Sauce topped with Mozzarella and drizzled with bazil pesto sauce.Dinner- Braised Shortribs with red wine reduction- Ahi Poke Bowl : With Jasmine Rice, Carrots, cucumbers, avocado, seaweed salad, green onions, and wonton crisp.

I fixed my hair in the mirror in the hallway by the kitchen and a worker told me the mirror is a “two-way” mirror from the Men’s bathroom. I asked my boyfriend to go check and it’s true. Absolutely disgusting.

We ordered the beef strip appetizer and filet mignon entree and both were overcooked and really small portions

Visiting from out of town. Made reservations. Sat 35 minutes late which I can understand. Ordered filter minon medium rare. Came well done. Nicely asked for a replacement reluctantly. Came f'n cold, seared about 3/16" top and bottom. I knew it. Asked to speak with the manager. She only responded that she won't charge me for the two plates I returned. Like she's doing me a favor. Our waiter was embarrassed. Not his fault.

We are visiting from the UK and stopped in for lunch with four adults and four children. We had to wait 20mins for a table, ok no problem this means the place is popular so must be good. We were sat outside on the sidewalk with and umbrella that didn’t provide enough shade for all. We ordered food and it arrived without cutlery and we had to ask for this after food was served and we couldn’t get hold of the waiter. Cheque was £171 so we added $18 even though we didn’t think it was good service, we still had to ask where the ice cream for the kids meals was. That came and the waiter took our cheque. Next thing I know he is shouting “I hope everything was ok” I ask him if I could speak to him he says no they are busy. I have since figured out that the “tip” didn’t go through because it’s a uk card and you can’t pre authorise additional spending so I tried to speak to him and he was rude and told me the tip went through fine. This was a terrible experience for our family and definitely not what we had heard about US customer service. I would avoid this place at all costs.

We stopped in on Easter and paid the $50 per person set menu price for a horrible meal. The appetizer salad was wilted. The Ahi Poke bowl had Ahi that was pink like watermelon and tasted so off that we didn't eat it. The pancakes or son got were rubbery. We paid and left before desert. Atrociously bad.

I'm sure this review will have little to no effect on this well-established place with thousands of other positive comments. But seriously, the food was not special, service was slow and sloppy and wrong, and the wait staff wasn't properly trained. Save yourself the trouble and go across the street to Kaiser Grille instead.
