Went there on Street Fair Thursday in March 2024. Three of us sat by the street and got to people watch. Portable Heaters helped a lot to make it tolerable in the cool breezy evening. One out of three plates came out wrong. Felt awkward and impolite for us two to start eating, but it was cold and breezy. Still half my Chili Rellano wasn't very warm inside or out. Creamy sauce on top was good but cold. The second half was warmer inside. Tamale was very filling and excellent once I got some sauce to put on it. Had to wait and ask a couple times to a couple waiters for extra salsa for the entrées. Average price was $17 per plate plus drinks.

The place has a very lively vibe which is what attracted us to it as we were walking by. However, the food was pretty disappointing. The chicken chimichanga, that we ordered, was very bland. Mostly chicken with very little beans and rice. The service was good and the staff was attentive. The outside seating area is nice and the music was good. However, I will not be going back for the food.

Good food and quick service! We were seated at 8:15pm even though the restaurant closed at 9pm so appreciate the late service too! The margaritas were excellent and we devoured the Queso, chicken quesadilla, and fajitas!

We come to this restraunt at least once a month and the staff is so friendly!! The food is AMAZING . Love maracas!
Food was pretty good. The salsa was great. No follow-up service after the food was brought out. Asked twice for a second basket of chips. Never got those. Dirty plates were never removed from the table. Had to ask for the check after sitting with dirty plates and no refills for quite a while. Bathroom was dirty and run down. The atmosphere was nice.

When in Rome…When in Palm Springs….. you really need to have lunch at Maracas. It’s an institution and a delightful time right in the middle of the action. It’s where it’s “at.”Mini fish tacos in chipotle sauce? Yes!What a lovely, delicate with a nice bite treat.Go, you’ll be glad you did.

Food was not great. It's a tourist trap. Even though I was dining alone I had a stroller and no one came to check on me for twenty minutes even though others around me that got seated after me were getting service. This little yellow chewed up looking thing I was told is a sweet corn cake... No thanks. Yikes!
