It was busy but great. My wife and I had the Egg plant parmigiana and anti pasta salad. The place is a little difficult to find for the first time. It’s in the corner behind Los Corales.
I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I feel I have to. I ordered the veal Parm and my wife got the chicken Parm. The veal had to be from frozen factory, it was more breading than veal, had NO flavor (maybe that's a good thing) and was tough. The sauce was flavorless and thin; I'm quite sure it was just a bunch of canned ingredients with some dry herbs barely cooked in so none of the flavors married. Under new ownership for this building the food and the service has improved dramatically. Mario's used to be my favorite spot to go to for a delicious meal, it has once again ascended to my go to restaurant. Outstanding service, great vibe and food. You can definitely hear Mario's voice beckoning you to have the largest glasses of wine in the valley. LOL
