Love this place! Great options for gluten free and vegan. I got the breakfast sandwich with gluten free bread, vegan cheese, and a sausage patty. It hit the spot. I also got a side salad that felt healthy and refreshing. Would highly recommend and I would like to go back!

Had a wonderful brunch here yesterday! I'm in Palm Springs for a very short visit and was looking for a place to get brunch. I almost passed this by because the menu has traditional breakfast items listed under "Breakfast Sides," which I'd missed when I saw the menu online. So I was headed to Koffi instead (I think they're connected?) hoping for a great cup of coffee and maybe a pastry, when I saw people at MidMod having beautiful French toast! I went in and fully examined the menu and was happy to see that everything I wanted was in the Breakfast Sides section. Had French toast with lovely fresh berries and real maple syrup, and scrambled eggs. Iced coffee was fabulous, and the server gave me a free refill without my asking. It's like he read my mind that I wanted another! The server was kind and courteous and was really on top of everything. The place was surprisingly packed for a mid-morning Monday, and he was really hustling. Some other staff helped too. I leave tomorrow but might go back there to try something else and get a smoothie. Disappointing experience. We came in on a Saturday and the establishment had patrons but was not spilling over busy. Having never been here before, and judging by its very casual atmosphere, I asked if need to reserve a table or if we order up front. The girl at the register was rude from the get-go and rolled her eyes at my question. After letting me know we need to reserve a table, I gave her my name and how many guests were in our party. I asked how long she thought it would be and she seemed bothered that I asked her the question. She told us 30 minutes, I thanked her, and we waited. 45 minutes passed and we checked in for a status. Seemingly annoyed that we were still there, she told us it would be another 15-20 min, then later another 20 minutes. Ultimately, we waited 2 hours for a table. Had we known the wait would have been so long, we would have gone somewhere with friendlier customer service. Once we sat down, it took 20-30 min to take our order and, once we received our food, two of our groups meals were missing half of the ingredients stated on the menu. They claimed to have run out of those ingredients, which would have been helpful to know in advance. Lastly, the food was very bland and not thoughtfully prepared. I would not recommend this place for breakfast. There are other nearby establishments where the service is much better.

VERY cute spot. Came here for brunch with a non-vegan friend. It has a menu that I think most anyone could find something they'd be happy with, which is nice. I ended up going with the vegan biscuits and gravy and was happy I did! Great quality for a very reasonable price. I also had a frozen strawberry drink with my meal that was very refreshing. Overall, I think this is probably one of the best vegan meals you could get in the area for ~$12. I'll definitely try to go back the next time I'm in Palm Springs.

Great food and nice atmosphere with outdoor seating! The juices and smoothies are wonderful and all of us were very happy with our breakfasts-from an Açaí bowl to breakfast burger! We were pleasantly surprised!!!!

The hostess with the bangs was extremely rude. She seemed annoyed to communicate with customers, and do her job. Absolutely zero customer service. She was just standing around and huffing and puffing. The place wasn't insanely busy for a Saturday. It was unwelcoming. The veggie hash was soggy :( I wouldn't recommend it based on service alone, and the food didn't save the day.

Question. #MidModCafe On a level from 0 to 10 How acceptable is it for a restaurant to serve spoiled food, and then be nonchalant about it when it's pointed out? 10 is completely unacceptable. I won't be back. "Oh other customers didn't complain." No, but they'll probably end up with food poisoning.
I had a cup of coffee with oat milk. They also offer almond, and I think soy. The food was yummy, and the customer was awesome. I definitely will be back. Awesome atmosphere. Thank you

My vegan friend took me out here for my bday and I'm not vegan! I was pleasantly surprised they had a really tasty Midmosh mash hamburger! Actually all the salads and wraps and juices looked so good I was torn on what to eat but the carnivore in me won out! Coming back for sure and eating all the healthy stuff! Mid Mod Is a perfect little quiet spot to eat great food in a garden setting.. Highly recommend!

Everyone needs a good breakfast after hiking, and this place has something for everyone! We came a second time it was so good. I'm gluten free so there was plenty of options.

Amazing place at a great location and plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans. Lots of healthy stuff and the place has a great vibe. The people working here are Amazing too. I got the acai bowl and the portion was huge. The banana date shake is awesome. Pretty much everything we got we absolutely loved. Highly recommend this place.

Our plane from MN landed at 8:30 am and we drove straight to this restaurant. It was on the main drag and we choose a table right on the street. Lots of fancy car watching! Fancy motorcycles! Girls in short shorts walking by! The service was sweet and fast and friendly. The food was very "California" -- I asked the waiter for favorites and he said the root hash so I got it. It had cooked beets and greens and two eggs on top. It needed a little salt, but was fresh and delicious. My boyfriend got huevos rancheros which were a fresh delight. Nothing like California sun on my neck during breakfast! You can also order at the counter and take it out...
