Plethora portions, classy waitresses / waiters, clean interior, comfortable atmosphere, and service that kicks everyone else to shame allows a 5-star rating. There is one specific gentleman who buses and helps refill drinks that should get an award for how quickly he moved and was attentive to every table. Yes - I graciously gave him a tip on top of my waitress for the hustle. You will not sit here wondering where your waitress / waiter is as they watch every table like a hawk accommodating to all needs. Unbelievable! Thank you, Rick's! You will thrive at your formal one single location as your service and food trumps everything else in the desert. Change nothing! I can't wait to return!

Rick's Desert Grill is really good. It is a higher end coffee shop. Great service and ambiance. Really enjoyed the dinner we had.

Loved the Cuban sandwich and the Crab Cakes were good. Scotty our waiter was superb and the prices are reasonable. Pecan pie was ok-next time we try the flan!

Very nice. It has the Palm Springs vibe. Photos of movie stars. The bar is cozy. The staff is very friendly. We will revisit this when we are in the neighborhood.

Just walked in off the street (no reservations) at maybe 6 PM to grab some dinner. I was damned near giddy just walking in the door. It wasn't crowded or loud like so many other Palm Springs locations. My wife and I were able to relax at our table and have a conversation.Our server was top notch. He was friendly, knowledgable, attentive... I just don't have a bad word to say about him.As for the food? My wife thoroughly enjoyed her meal. I wasn't that impressed with my meal, but I concede I ordered something I normally wouldn't as a culinary experiment so it's probable that it was done very well and the dish just wasn't my thing. I say "probable" because everything else was spectacular (soup, appetizers, etc.). Especially the plantains. Oh, those were amazing.Cost? I honestly don't remember what we paid so it must have been reasonable 'cause I would remember it if I had any sort of sticker shock.Bottom line? I absolutely will be back.
Rick's is really our favorite place to eat in Palm Springs. I've never had anything there that I didn't like. The service is great. Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. I wish they sold their chicken soup by the gallon.

After a day of traveling I had an excellent dinner at Rick's. I loved the Cuban sandwich and the service was top-notch. I'd you go order the cucumber-jalapeño martini - or then again - have two! The manager - recognizing that I loved the concoction - hand wrote-out the recipe for me. That 's just great customer appreciation and why I will go back to Rick's.
