"Ruben's Special" was delicious. Plenty of seafood in the dish and a flavorful broth too.The raw oysters were fresh, tasty, and cleanly presented BUT I did not appreciate having to finish shucking my own oysters with a butter knife. Suggestion: coach the kitchen staff to properly release the aductor muscle from BOTH shells.Atmosphere is pleasant but noisy....in a good way.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. Mussels were huge. Have been there several times. It's still our favorite seafood stop. I had the grilled salmon. My wife had the seafood alfredo that she enjoyed very much. Great service as well.

Overall a mediocre experience. Was very disappointed in the quality of food for the cost. Oysters were very very large and most of the abductor tendons weren't cut so we had to really scrape them out. Weird plastic plates instead of ceramic which just felt cheap. Coconut shrimp was the only good thing we had. Cocktails are from the 90s. I didn't realize places still muddle a giant orange piece and maraschino cherry in their old fashioned. The rum drinks are made with Malibu which is pretty gross. Crab stuffed artichoke was mostly bread crumbs, very dry and super salty. Steamed mussels only came with 12 mussels, and for asian green mussels that's almost 2 dollars a piece yikes. Pasta was over cooked and very oily. The only flavor was from the Cajun seasoning. Shrimp were very tough, over cooked or frozen. Crab enchilada just lacked flavor and character. Had high hopes from other reviews but unfortunately for the price point its just not worth it.

If you haven't been to 4+star restaurants you might like it here, I found it to be only fair. Salmon didn't flake, the green lip mussels were over cooked and shriveled up and the lack of service was annoying. Be prepared for a 1.5 hour dinner.

Really enjoyed my seafood kabob. Excellent service and nice outside seating area. Will go again to explore other menu items.

Thank you to the staff, the chef. Food is always delicious and everyone I’ve brought here can’t wait to come back. Sorry I was about to get heart of my artichoke before remembering to take a picture. My friend had the shrimp scampi, girl almost licked the plate.

This restaurant has Ciopinno that is the same one with the Lighthouse Oyster Bar and Restaurant in Oceanside, CA. Why? Because the owner is the nephew and its his uncle's recipe that they have in their menu! What a nice happenstance!

This is one of our spots when we come into town. My only gripe is they never bring everyone food out together. They bring whatever is ready.

It's definitely worth going. Excellent food and service. It's a small place that fills up quickly. Plan accordingly.Parking: Parking is behind the building and is kind of limited.

Was there last night . Service is good . The food (main dish) that I ordered was sub par. My dinner was ok. Oysters were good. Just don't know what made finally decide to get off the toilet at 4am the next morning. The steak was not good. It could have been the under steamed/hard broccoli. The rice pilaf was good. After my experience after leaving this restaurant I will not be coming back

The service was amazing, the food was good but the fish in the cioppino tasted like it was frozen for a week but it was still good. I came to the desert to get dessert but I found myself shucking
