My friend and I came to meet up here on one of our days off work. I like the little counter along the window, it allowed for people watching and just looking out at the view of the main strip of downtown. It is definitely very different from the Ruby's diner that used to be here. I wish the decorations and style was more cohesive and themed though, it felt a little lacking. The service was good, the waitstaff came periodically at the right times like when our drinks were almost empty or when we needed some additional condiments. It's a nice brunch spot, the food was good.

Go-to spot to dine in Palm Springs! I got the steak and chilaquiles, which were tasty. But, the star of the show are the beignets! They are fluffy pastries covered in whipped cream and fresh berries. They are definitely generous with the portions. The service is nice and the scenery goes along with it. I took my mom here and she's a picky eater, yet even she found something that she enjoyed. Great price point, as well.

I had a great experience here during Pride! The food is delicious. I met the owner and he asked how our food was. I said if was delicious, but better if it was more spicy. Without hesitation he brought it back and said he will make it more spicy! Fantastic customer service! I am looking forward to coming back again!

How does this not have more reviews?! This was mine and my family's first trip to Palms Springs for the Labor Day weekend but it was our last day there. The area alone is a gem! Lots of places to eat and shopping is close together. We were originally on our way to Wilma and Frieda's which was located upstairs where Sams Place was BUT we heard Live music coming from Sams so we decided it was a change of plans. We were greeted by the friendly staff and were seated right away. That was a PLUS considering the wait time at the other restaurants I called prior were at a 30 min wait. The place was busy but our food didn't take long to come out. The atmosphere was pleasant and not to mention the live music set the tone. The singer and guitarist had a QR code where they performed (name: Eevaan Tre). Amazing duo together and loved all the songs performed. Food was delicious! The beignet was AMAZING! If you come here, you HAVE order this. I love that they topped it with Chantilly! My FAV! Anyway, good place to eat for brunch! would recommend!

Food was delicious especially the beignets, a MUST try! If I'm back to Palm Springs again, this will be the breakfast/brunch place to go. Our waitress she was very friendly and sweet. They have live music there, Michael Keeth, he was very talented, his singing was very smooth and he played very well acoustic guitar. All little nice things add up

My husband and I had brunch there, and it was delicious! I had the huevos Rancheros, and my husband had the steak chilaquiles! 10/10 for presentation and deliciousness! Vianney was great, also! Friendly and prompt service! She also gets a 10 out 10! Definitely recommend this place!

This review is overdue. A large-ish group of us meets for lunch every Friday and Sam's has become our "go to" Today, Ana and Abraham took amazing care of us. We're an elder group so of course everyone has special requests and we want separate checks. The staff is always delightful and attentive and flexible if more of our group show up at the last minute. My ONLY complaint is that the music is often loud and inappropriate.

We were here for breakfast one day and had the beignets. The closest to New Orleans you will have. They are delicious. Highly recommend these. Later in the week we had lunch here and had the fish and chips and salad. Both were very good.

Beignets are a most get here. The Yellowstone burger is okay. Think western bacon cheese burger at Carlos Jr but a bit better quality. The California omelette is good with good amount of shrimp. Waitress was very nice.
