Ambiance is great. Love the decor. I was disappointed this time though. Service was slow and then at the end it seemed we were being rushed out. My stuff poblano was delicious but the yuca fries were rock hard and the pollo blanco was exceptionally dry. Disappointing given I had a great experience last year.
Great experience. Had upstairs outdoor table reserved. Wind limited their ability to use that space. Manager was able to put a few tables inside upstairs and honored our reservations. Food was great, drinks were amazing. Thanks!!

Fantastic Ambiance, Food and Service. We were there on a cooler than expected evening for Palm Springs and they did everything possible to see that we were warm and comfortable with outside heaters and blankets. We will definitely be going back.

The service was disjointed and ill timed. Several things that we ordered we not available including ingredients in common Cocktails. Meals were delivered and placed in front of the wrong guest. We were only four. The food was just acceptable with the several of the accompanying items on the plate being overdone and the plates being left under warming lights too long before being served. The restaurant was not particularly busy at the time . Our dinner took so long to be served that clean up had started around us when we were still eating. Thus is unforgivable at a high end restaurant and one I particularly detest. I would not hurry back. For the price, I could easily do better.

We arrived a few minutes late. Receptionist acted like we violated one of the 10 commandments. The vibe was not good. Like we are bad people. Refused to seat us at a table. We left. Never to return again.

Fun little boutique hotel & restaurant. Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow - especially for drinks. We also wanted to sit on the rooftop, but apparently it's only open on weekends. The food was good.

Love Azucar - one of our favorites. Hummus plate is excellent for a cocktail and snack occasion. Love the spicy margaritas. Pleasing poolside vibe - probably best to visit in afternoon. Makes me want to stay at the hotel!

First time we tried to go we were turned away claiming open table glitch. Ok. Went again next day and was told no one was in the kitchen and we needed to wait 45 mins. We offered to come back in but she said she'd bring us some chips and salsa/guac while we wait. Ok. But we got charged for those and everything at the table next to us. Food is very good. Place looks nice. Just remarkably disorganized and overcharged left and right at an already expensive place. Didn't bring my juice for 35 minutes. Felt like the first day it was “open”.
Coasting on their reputation. Have been there 5 or 6 times and it seems to have gone a bit downhill. Ambience on the roof can't be beat but the food is average, overpriced, and they were out of 3 out of 8 entrees at 6 pm. The waiters were apologetic and tried their best to be positive in a difficult situation.

They didn't have 3 items on the menu available, that was very disappointing. And the tenderloin was not a tenderloin cut of steak. The waiter was very hospitable and gracious.
I booked the rooftop dining area but when we arrived we were told that it was not open with no explanation of why or any apology for the necessary seating change. We were provided with menus that had a substantial number of highlighted items but never told that these items were not available. When we were finally told by the unfriendly waitress that this was the case I told her we needed more time with the menu and she acted as though the delay was our fault. The food was mediocre, the service was poor and I will not be returning.

The outdoor setting is absolutely lovely and we enjoyed sitting on the rooftop having drinks and dinner. The food was excellent. However, service was very, very slow. We wanted a relaxed dining experience, but it took over two hours. The waiter apologized a couple of times for the wait. There was a sign outside saying that the restaurant was only open for reservations. It seems like they could have turned our table over at least once in the amount of time we were there.

Several items on the menu they were out of. Since the menu choices were very limited to begin with, there weren't alot of choices. We ordered steak and eggs over easy. Steak had a delicious flavor but was so tough we couldn't cut it or chew it. Eggs were hard as rocks. For the price, the quality just wasn't there. Great service and ambiance, but that wasn't worth the $$$$.

It was very unfortunate because I have been there many times in the past and have always loved it. I was bringing friends that have never been before last weekend and the hostess ruined the experience for us. She was beyond rude, straight up lied to my face, and obviously could care less about customer service. Our waitress Illiana wasn't surprised by the behavior and tried her best to remedy the rest of the evening for us but at that point there wasn't much she could do. I may try again at some point (hopefully the hostess will be gone by then) but not any time soon. I checked and there are similar reviews about her from the same night we were there.
We were seated on time and got our cocktails timely. There were 4 items on the menu unavailable. It took while to get our orders placed. The 2 tenderloins ordered were MR but came out rare. They were returned to the kitchen, so it made it uncomfortable for the other 2 guests to eat while 2 people were waiting for their meals. We have eaten here several times and this was the first time we had an issue. Thank you
