We had a fantastic few day stay at La Serena. The rooms are large, nicely decorated and welcoming. The bathrooms are huge. We had an outdoor spa that we did not use, so no insights there. The location is great - walk to everything with plenty of great restaurants nearby. The breakfast (which was included) was very good, and we had excellent dinner and drinks at the restaurant one evening. The pool was really nice. A+ hotel and A++ staff. I booked a room and couples massage and this exceeded our expectations. The adventure started with a small hiccup with the hotel moving our villa to another room due to a change in ownership issue. However, Misty the manager was instrumental in finding a solution that exceeded our expectations. The staff were overwhelmingly kind and helpful. Overall, this hotel is quite good. The restaurant is exceptional, receiving a 10/10 rating for its delicious cuisine. The staff, particularly the manager and our server Manny, are amazing and provide exceptional customer service. The rooms are cozy and charming, complete with a fire pit and bathtub attached to each room. However, there were a few disappointments during my stay.
