Today we went to “Thirsty Palms”. We chose this restaurant because of its varied menu and reasonable prices. We don't regret our choice. The burgers and fries were very good. Spaghetti with shrimp was generously seasoned with garlic and tasted really delicious. The Margherita pizza was huge and my child really enjoyed it. The service was nice and accommodating. A successful end to the day!

Very bad experience. We were informed that we will have to wait 30min. for our food. After some time waiting we thought it is weird that people who entered after us are already eating. After 50min. waiting, they came apologetic that our order did not proceed through their system and we have to wait a bit more. As we thought it will be just a few minutes waiting we stayed but after another 10min. we deciced to leave. This was unbelievable. You should at least offer some compensation as to apologize for your mistake.

The worst restaurant experience we have ever had in Palm Springs. Over one hour wait for two pasta dishes and they were terrible. Two pieces of shrimp on the shrimp scampi pasta and salty. No other spices. Never going back. Everyone waited forever for their food and drinks.

I think the main problem with thirsty palms is they cannot decide what they are! Although we didn't have it, the pizza's looked good. The chicken schnitzel was bland and dry. The service was very good.

We stopped here on Thursday night. My brother had a shrimp cocktail with "warm" shrimp, I had the beet salad with argula and feta. The ingredients were all fresh and seemed ok. But for the dressing it seemed they just drizzled quite a bit of olive oil. So I asked for a little vinegar, one waitress said no problem she'd bring some red wine vinegar. What I got was more olive oil. I asked again and our waiter brought white vinegar snd said thats the only vinegar they had. My sister-in-law had the wedge salad that she said was good. We were disappointed, and probably would not eat here again.

We were in Palm Springs on the way to Indisn Welks tennis tournament. My husband and I were invited by the owner to try their food. For dinner we ordered Schnitzels , one chicken and one pork. They were delicious and tender. Big portions, like we used having in Germany. We were so glad we had chosen this restaurant. We came back next morning fir breakfast. It was also great. The owner gave us an advice of her favorite food and we were so happy we ordered it. We are looking forward to dine there again in the future.

We have just arrived from your restaurant and I must say that we are super satisfied. We chose the salmon. Cooking the way I like it. My husband and I highly recommend your restaurant. We were very well received. The one who served us was nice. Thank you for this good time.

How do you spell perfection? Lox Benedict at Thirsty Palms! Finely created artisan craftsmanship, beautifully presented and expertly prepared with egg yolks that flow gently over the layers of lox, thinly sliced red onion, and delicate green arugula. Capers are scattered on top in a bow to the lox. Hollandaise is exactly right, delicious and creamy.Side greens are dressed with a light dressing that has just a touch of tang which enhances but doesn’t distract from the Benedict star of the show.Service needs guidance. Smiles and genuine interest would be helpful. As a Benedict fan, this so far outclasses the several other restaurants I’ve tried here, even the ones with long lines waiting.Outdoor setting is pleasant, the inside is charming. Everything is meticulously bright and sparkling clean.

They clearly state that they offer vegan items upon request but I was just there and even the waiter told us that they don’t offer any and it needs to be removed. Do not go if vegan!

We stopped here on our way to another place down the road and something about it brought us in. And wow I sure am glad it did!!!! The BEST food I’ve had in Palm Springs and also the sweetest service and staff. Even watched the owner personally seat a woman who just wanted to enjoy her coffee and relax outside. Such a pure experience!! And don’t leave without the ricotta pancakes ? ? ?
