Found this restaurant passing through to Bakersfield, and let me tell you, we will definitely stop here on our way to AZ. The food was delicious, service was great. The horchata is the BEST I've ever had, had a hint of chocolate or almond flavor, not sure but it was delicious . Oh yes, forgot to mention hand made fresh corn tortillas, to die for ;)

The place has more or less food. We went in the morning to eat normally but this time the lady was on another level. Taking orders to her liking and wanting one to eat what she brought us. That's not how the business is and when the place doesn't look very good, the food is half ocher and the service doesn't work because that's what everything was designed with.The place is a little whole on the wall and the food is alright we usually go in the morning. I've gone a few times but this time the waitress took our order wrong and wanted us to eat what she brought and was arguing about it turning around and walking to the back like we were going to change our minds about it. Im sorry but when your place looks like a shack and your food is mediocre you should have better service at least.

I got the carne asada gordita and the meat was very bland. It had little to no seasoning the breading was burnt from the outside. The only good thing was the size of it, but for the $10 that's overpriced. I also got the carne asada burrito it was ok, the size was decent, but the meat once again was very bland little to no seasoning. Overall this was a disappointment since I saw some decent reviews before visiting and it looks like an authentic Mexican restaurant inside. But the food is not worth the blandness that you get.

OK, HANDS DOWN MEXICAN FOOD!!! SO FAR TRIED THE MENUDO WITH HUMUS, OMG TOP OF THE LINE, SHRIMP COCKTAILS THE BEST I've TASTED SO FAR IN THE AV, THE BEEF TORTAS AND AND PASTOR VERY GOOD. IM ASSUMING EVERYTHING ELSE IS GOOD TOO! VERY RECOMMENDED FOR AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD!!!
