I was up in the high desert so I called an old friend up for lunch. That is the Gen X version of what a hard working civil engineer wears. ?I chose Goldfish based on reviews and I was not disappointed. Everything was great. We wolfed down many delicious rolls and the appetizer that reminds me of yummy crunchy. I will get a list of names next time I go. I was there to hang with a friend. The silk cherry tree looked very impressive. It really set the mood for the whole room.Recommended

I placed an order for pick up and when she handed me my order I said “do you have sriracha and” and before I could finish she goes “sriracha yeah I already put that in there for you. Soy sauce and sriracha” then I said “and” and again she goes “and a pair of chopstick” like can I talk!!! You don’t know what I want. I want sriracha and teriyaki sauce. But she didn’t even give me a chance to say that. So rude. And the food is sub par. Not worth it

First time here, and my family and I (4) had a great experience. The servers were attentive, the food.. whoa. I have found my new favorite sushi ? roll, the Lemon Salmon, which was De-li-cious ?. The sashimi were perfect sizes and very filling. Unfortunately, one flaw, there was a couple of pieces of tuna that were not very appealing and smelled a bit fishy. Other that, great prices and good atmosphere with courteous staff made for a great experience.
A little loud in there always but the food is so good. Consistently delicious sushi. And their miso soup for some reason is so creamy and the tofu is perfect. And Nigori Sake <3
Had a great time dining with my family, the staff is really friendly, so helpful with menu items. Definetly recommend the Tropical Soju Cocktail and the Volcano Roll.

So I found it unpleasant to be waited on by the two that's assisted our table . No smiles No friendliness, no manners . Just momo to e service . Not good customer service . The food was excellent . The service did not satisfy the visit . I'm sorry but they lack of friendliness in a restaurant makes a difference .than the men that work there use the bathroom for ladies while the customers were waiting in the hallway to use it .
I will never return. I really liked this place but the person at the cash desk is disgusting, treats you badly and looks like he doesn't want to work.. I will never return.

Incredibly redundant menu and flavor profiles of the rolls. Poor rice quality. That's really all I can say. Just being bluntly

We have been regulars of Goldfish since moving to the AV 4-yrs ago, and though not exceptional, it’s been reasonably consistent. However, tonight, the whole evening was ruined by the expeditor/manager that was more focused on turning tables over than ensuring a decent dining experience. We were at the last bites of our meal when she approached us asking if we can move our table. I responded saying we’re almost done eating, that she can close out our check and do whatever she wants with the table in a couple minutes. Instead, she proceeded to pick up the table and moved it, me with chopsticks still in my hand. When I gave her feedback that we did not appreciate what she did, her response was that she had to get customers in as soon as she can, and that I probably have a fancier job and wouldn’t understand the pressure of customer service. Customer service is more than just getting customers in the door. It’s providing a reasonably decent dining experience and quality food to keep customers coming back. Kicker was, they ended up not splitting the tables next to us and we didn’t have to move to begin with.Hopefully Goldfish takes this as constructive criticism and reconsiders how they treat their customers.—————In response to the business’s reply:1. The tables next to us were already occupied when we got seated2. We were only asked to move after that party left, and she wanted to split up those 2 tables3. She asked us to moved. We declined, offering an alternative to bring us the check so that she can have the table back sooner. Instead she proceeded to move our table while I was in mid bite4. The next party getting seated was a 5-top, so the tables next to us did not need to be split after allI do not appreciate how she misrepresented the chain of events to you, and her attitude towards me when I approached her afterwards.

We come here often for about 10 years and have never had such a terrible experience. Manager must have changed or something. We walk in. They're was a waiting list. 3 ppl in front of us. The girl told us if we want to skip the wait to sit anywhere at the bar so we did. Not even a minute later a guy came up and told us we HAVE to move over some seats or 2 so they can fit other people. To which we told him the girl just told us to go anywhere. If it was assigned seating you should have told us and done it from the start. Not even a minute later a second server came and told us to move again over another foot or 2. Completely baffled and agitated we got up and left. Horrible service and if you read reviews the manager is very aware and doing this intentionally, she doesn't care and will waste your time insulting you. Trashy service and management as of January 6th 2024. But Google shows the reviews plummeted here at least 4-7 months ago. I guess it blue maki, sato sushi or poke junction from here on out.
Service and price was amazing.
