This is an honest review. Coming from a Mexican background, tamales were always a staple in our home. With that being said, I tried for lulus tamales for the first time today. I bought the mole and green chicken tamales. They were both pretty flavorful and very hefty tamales as well but the only thing I'd say is that the chicken was a little tough or dry . Aside from that, they were pretty good

Great place. Great prices for the portion of the food. I wish they always had enough food on weekends, because they sell a lot.

You wouldn't think that you'd be able to find quality tamales in the middle of Lancaster, but Lulu's says otherwise. They sell out quick and it's for a reason. I highly recommend you grab any of their red tamales, those are the best ones. You'll have to enjoy your tamales back home because this place is a food truck with no seating area. But that's alright, no one to judge you for purchasing 15 tamales all for yourself.

Found this gem on wheels while visiting Lancaster CA. The tamales are authentic, fresh, hot, and loaded with good stuff. The chicharrón tamales are a must try! They are spicy and so delicious. The menu has a variety of mouth-watering items to choose from. Friendly customer service. I will definitely return when I'm in the area. They are there till sold out. Sundays, they have menudo on the menu. Food is ordered to go, and there is no outside seating available.

It was freezing and waited over 2 hours and didn't get anything because they sold out. I've had them before and the tamales are awesome that is why I was willing to wait that long but they didn't make enough to even be open for an hour. I was there over 1 hour before they opened.

Believe the hype! People were lined up to buy before the truck even arrived. These are the biggest & probably the best tamales I've ever had! A lot of moist filling so you don't end up eating a bunch of masa. The masa is good enough to eat by itself. A dozen is about $32 plus tax, you can mix different flavors. I got pork, chicken and cicharron. All are really good, the cicharron is a little spicy. Their location changes and is posted on their IG page. Get there early before they sell out!

reviewed for catered DCFS youth event in PalmdaleIncredibly moist and fresh tasting tamales with great masa. Flavors were rich and meat very tender and soft. Will absolutely be ordering on my own. Was wondering given the limited supplies if one can order in advance for pickup.

These are the best tamales I've ever had. They are so huge and so tasty. It is filled with so much meat, and the masa is wonderful. My favorite is the beef tamale with red sauce. The chicken with green Verde sauce comes in a close second. It's the only place I go to for my tamales now.Parking: It's a dirt parking lot and easy to access, lots of parking available.
