“Ummm, wow. Super inventive and delicious. Great beer selection is what brought me here, but I love a good curry. Went with wiater recommendation and got the Curry chicken masala pizza. DEEEEELICIOUS!!!The dough itself is pretty pedestrian, but the toppings and flavor had me over eating and then still debating if I want to eat another slice. Worthy, for sure“
“This is a really cool place to get some bites and beer. The sliders were really really tasty. The chips and the fries were good too. And beer is always good. Reducing one star just for the service. I know they have the self-order in place but we went with a big group and it was really hard to coordinate. Self-ordering. Eventually the serving person did take our orders, it just took a little bit of more time than I would have expected on a slow weekday night. But, to their defense there was just one person managing the whole place so I wouldn't blame them.“
“I absolutely love State of Mind. I don't know anyone that doesn't. The quality of their pizzas alone will impress you. This is the kind of place that will convert a "crust hater" into a "crust lover". I recommend the Heat and Sweet or their limited quantity Grandma's Pie. Also, try their "SOM dusted French fries, they're killer! Great selection of craft beers on tap. Relaxed, family friendly atmosphere with a mini arcade area for kids.“
“Great place for lunch and dinner. Perfect tasting pizza all around. Always a welcoming staff and killer drinks! One of a kind super tasty sparkling Shirley temple too ( only because it's on tap! )A very great experience with this place. Highly recommend checking it out. Quick, easy, TASTY and a bunch of options too!“
“Came here specifically for Pliney the younger! You have to order the drink in a pair with another drink. Example would be pliney the younger and pliney the elder. Guess that's their way of making more sales. Line gets pretty long. It can wrap outside of the store. Ordering the food is pretty easy through the machine. Food came out in a timely manner on their robot machine. Typical bar food with an Asian twist. Nothing amazing. Service was good. You're able to order drinks for your whole table. Give this spot a try if you're craving a beer!“
“Walking with a friend on Laurel Street we stopped in for a glass of Champagne and a Cheese Plate. Seating at the bar was comfortable, friendly bartender, an entire wall of wine you will surely find the perfect accompaniment to anything on the menu. Atmosphere was relaxed, casual and service en pointe. Parking can be difficult especially on weekends.“
“I've been coming here a lot, and every time I go, I leave with not just a great assortment of drinks but also a heart full of warmth from the staff's sincere compassion. It never ceases to amaze me how many shelves and refrigerators are filled with such a large assortment of booze. It's a sanctuary for people who value great customer service together with a selection of spirits that are obtained locally. I highly recommend this place to anyone who values personalized attention and wants to purchase alcohol locally. It is truly the best option available. It always brings together the comfort of community with the excitement of discovery.“
“I can't believe I've never visited F&S in the past 6 years living in San Carlos. I must've walked by it thousands of times by now but never did it cross my mind to step in. What a wonderful cocktail bar.Classy interior. Good selection of hard liquor. Very chill. And apparently live music on Thu/Fri/Sat.I happened to stop by on a weekday (Monday) so understandably the bar was quite empty but I could easy imagine a great happening location.I wish the prices were a bit cheaper though... but understandably Bay Area.Parking: Use the parking lots for Laurel St. Street in front is blocked away and the limited slots are impossible to get.“
“Another terrific find! This came to my attention when they catered my hospital's event. It was delicious! I have visited a few times dining both in and outdoors. The staff were friendly and engaging. While the prices aren't the lowest, you definitely get your money's worth and more. On my most recent visit, I tried the on-tap beer and even got to sample the brisket burnt ends...YUM!“
“Pretty good place for a beer and a burger. I had the burger panini and side salad and I highly recommend the side salad if you are tired of fries. Service for us was good and the food met expectations. I had the bread pudding for desert and it was pretty good.“
“This is a fun spot to get together with friends after a day at the corporate office and hang out at the social office! They've got a good menu and large selection of beer. You can sit down and start a tab on trivia nights (Monday 7p). There's a heated by fire pit outdoor space or some tables inside or at the bar. Parking is street and the staff is friendly but don't expect too much chitchat. They're often busy!“
“Yama Sushi is one of the Belmont restaurants that always hits the spot. I usually order for takeout but decided to sit in this time. The dinner Bento Box is a 3 item selection of delicious options. Glad I stopped to dine-in.Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options“
“Menu and food preparation are very tasteful and delicious. Service is great but ambience is noisy, especially in the evening. They really need sound dampening as conversations at neighboring tables block discussion for all others around. Too bad they haven't figured out how to create a relaxing ambience for their great food selections.“
“I love metro city and the staff here!! My fiancé and I have been coming for breakfast & lunch and each visit is always just as delicious and amazing! We just had our engagement party here over the weekend and to no surprise, the FOOD, EXPERIENCE, STAFF, and RESTAURANT was amazing, clean, delicious, attentive, and made the whole experience one to remember! Thank you so much for allowing me and my fiancés family and friends to celebrate this huge milestone and for making the event truly a memorable experience!“
“I went in this past Friday night it was a bit crowded but the staff was very helpful getting me a table 'the food was great I didn't really like the taps because it was really confusing the waitress was really helpful even though it was busy. I totally like the atmosphere and the music that was playing I would totally recommend this establishment. Thank You.' service was excellent!!!!!.“
“We were impressed. Came in today and got two burgers, fries, and onion rings for $25, before tip!?! Wow! Our standard weekend lunch in Sunnyvale is closer to $50, even for a simple burger. My partner and I chatted about the many impressive aspects of our meal afterwards. 1.) The ingredients are so well balanced and fresh you can actually desiminate them for one another in each bite; right down to the sesame bun. Nothing over powered any other aspect. 2.) The patty was well seasoned, and NOT with salt. So many places trade spices for salt these days and its the worst. Not Peggy Sue's. We could tell the patty had been seasoned but not with mostly salt. Again, well balanced. 3.) I have always talked about why places don't reduce the cost of a meal when you remove items. This place does! Omg, I can't belive that! You don't want the fries that come with your burger, cool, you save $1 ? Very cool! 4.) Almost any topping added, for free. I could turn a $11 cheese burger into an onion, jalapeño, peppers burger for... the same $11 ? What?!?. Again, so cool. 5.) Fries and onion rings were extra crunchy and fresh tasting; and again, not over salted. They definitely take care of their fryer and oil. Better tasting than a lot of places we've been. 6.) Service was friendly and welcoming. They very clearly care about their patrons and understand the importance of customer service. Please don't hesitate to ask for anything you feel may make your meal that much better, they really do want you to enjoy your meal. And remember, this is Sunnyvale, a $10 burger can't even be found at McDonald's these days. Great place. We will 100% be back as we're already excited to try their breakfast.“
“Stopped by three times during my week stay in Palo Alto. Chill, laid-back bar with Pliny on tap. Why try anywhere else when you found something right up your alley? Will be back next time my travels bring me to Stanford. Didn’t have food but looks surprisingly good.“
