Unique place in downtown Palo Alto. Thought must be good since 4 yelp stars. Well not do much. Had 2 glasses of wine. Very bland. Sat outside on a nice day + 2 stars. Had the mushroom dumplings and they were less than blah. Service was quick. Definitely won't be back.

As other diners have commented, the food was actually quite good, but the service was poor. I ordered the cheese bread dish with greens and burrata and my husband got the beef cheeks. The cheese bread reminds me of a calzone. It's good but very heavy and rich. The beef cheeks were delicious, very tender and the walnut sauce was unique and tasty. We got 3 pieces dumpling to share as appetizer - they were good but wish the dough to meat ratio skewed more in favor of more filling. The staff appeared young and inexperienced and seemed to lack any motivation to be attentive which made sense after we saw the bill which tacked on 20% gratuity regardless of party size (we were just 2 people). The staff walk around with tablets idling and don't come to tables to take food/drink orders or ask if you need anything anything. Also, the food comes out in poor sequencing- my husband got his beef cheeks first then I got my entrée maybe 10-15 minutes later and then the dumplings which were supposed to be appetizer came out last!

Cramped and the service was abysmal. Wouldn't have minded the forced 20% tip if the service hadn't been so pathetic. The food was nothing to write home about, and was expensive: $310 for four with no alcohol, one appetizer and no dessert. Most of us had water. Our table was a table fit for two but was crammed in with four chairs and no one would even clear the dishes from our table. We had to resort to self-service, clearing dishes and hunting down the waitress to tell her we were waiting for our next course and oh, where were those salads.

Mandatory 20% added to every bill? No other choice? Why? Service wasn’t excellent. So why mandatory 20%. If you gonna do that then just raise your cost or show the true cost. Stop deceiving people.

Khinkali 3/5Khatchapuri 3/5Prices are exorbitantly high, it was $51 for 3 small khibkali and one khatchapuri. Also they don’t give you wet napkins for the Khinkali or offer to mix the egg in for the Khatchapuri. I don’t think I’ve ever left a less than 5 star review for a restaurant, but I felt compelled to make this PSA so that others don’t leave as disappointed as I did.

We didn't have a reservation so we sat outside! Overall the service was really good and quick. Do note that there's a 20% automatic gratuity charge!Recommendations -Pkhali - this was the best dish without a doubt! The toasts were super crunchy. The beetroot and spinach balls were so incredibly flavorful!Gebjalia - cheese pinwheels combined with not too sour mint yogurt tasted really flavorful! We really liked this one!Khachapuri Adjaruli - we thought this dish might be a bit hyped ? it's just bread, cheese and egg yolk. It felt quite oily so couldn't finish the whole of it ? I think this is a really good dish for sharing amongst 4-5 people so perhaps you feel less oily! The soda was pretty cool too!Vegetarian options: Several!!!! Like 5-6 things are all veg!

I am a frequent visit at Bevri despite so many food choices in Palo Alto. Their food is top quality. Georgian wine is a must to try and so is the Napoleon cake. My waiter Ilhom is very friendly and accommodating.

Visited with my family today, and while the food was fine, the service was horrible. We had a reservation & were seated quickly, however we had to wait about 10 min before anyone actually greeted our table and brought us silverware and menus. Then another 10 before our order was taken, and another 10 before we got water lol. About 20 minutes after we got water, half our dishes came out. We got the lamb kebab & dumplings, which were fine but just warm not really hot. A few minutes after we finished these, we finally got our egg / cheese bread which was good but I mean it's pretty hard to mess up cheese bread lol. Ended up wishing that we just got a pizza somewhere else at that point. Overall pretty disappointing.

Just as great as the Los Altos location, if not better. This location has a little more of the TO BE SEEN vibe and is definitely great for people watching (in the middle of University Avenue). Food and service just as good. A must and what they are known for is the Khachapuri Adjaruli; the description says it all. Also, a must is the Georgian Salad; I know, it’s just cucumbers and tomatoes but the dressing is spot on!No hard liquor but they do offer wine, beer and mimosas.Parking can be tricky; try the side streets. Will definitely be back…….

This place is super overrated. The service was ok, and the food was not great. The portions are quite small for the price paid. The khinkali were decent (probably the best dish out of everything we ordered), but khachapuri was not tasty at all. It felt like the bread was a bit over cooked. On top of that - the mandatory tips of 20% (sat whaaat?!) are just offensive at this point. We normally leave good tips, but when you are FORCED to leave 20% for the mediocre experience it honestly just doesn't feel right.

Amazing! The khachapuri, straight from their wood-burning oven, is an absolute must-try. Gooey cheese, fluffy dough, perfect

Went to this place twice: Ate khinkali on a skewer and dumplings. Skewer was good but not great, deginitely enjoyed the dumplings though. On my second visit, i tried the phkali (red beet paste was fantastic) and cheese bread and they were both incredible. Lava cake was also nice but not outstanding.Georgian cuisine is hard to come by so i would definitely recommend you visit this place. (Staff is really helpful as well)
