I would highly recommend Bill's Cafe for a great brunch experience. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I will definitely be back to try more items from the menu. They don't take reservations which is kinda bummer.

Best pancakes! They have a sort of crisp on the outside but are fluffy and warm on the inside. Love love this restaurant. The staff is always very nice! One of my favorite breakfast places in the Bay Area. Definitely try this place out.

Their California Benedict and banana pancakes are simply delectable. I've heard of Bill's Cafe (San Jose) for over a decade, so it goes without saying that I have been meaning to try this place out. I'm so happy there's a Bill's Cafe near work! This is an excellent place to come with co-workers for breakfast/brunch. I came a few days ago with my colleagues and we had a good time eating scrambles and sipping OJ. A huge plus is that Philz Coffee is just next door! We will be back again soon!

Great view, waiter was nice. But the bisquits and gravy were the worst I've ever tasted. The biscuits felt slimey, the gravy was just nasty. Not my cup of tea. Plus I did my calculations and I'm sure they over charged me. Whatever.

We actually like Bill’s cafe a lot. The two additional stars will be added as soon as management offers any lactose free options for the coffee - soy, lactose free milk or creamer, almond milk - just any one of these options. It is not an expensive fix and there are so many lactose intolerant patrons. We’ve brought it up many times through the years and even started bringing our own creamer - the staff noted that they’ve seen other patrons do the same. Please consider adding any lactose free option for the coffee.

One of the favorite breakfast places in Palo Alto, CA before the COVID-19 days. Definitely on my list to go back again. The last time after covid reopening, the service was not as good as before.The egg Benedict used to be very good and one of my choices. Their freshly squeezed orange juice is always a must.

I will say that I felt like my Hashbrown skillet lacked flavor. The Eggs and Hashbrown were pretty plain and nothing really special.My mom said her Bills original was good but it just had a lot of potatoes. (We didn’t expect that)Because we didn’t order anything really extradorinaiy + pretty basic breakfast I can’t say it’s some of the best food I’ve had. I would like to come back and try other foods and their pancakes but I was just so FULL lol.We were sat outside which was really nice and calm, not a busy street so you can don’t have to yell over others.Recommend placing a reservation on Yelp before going. We were sat before some people who were already there thanks to that!*Parking is very limited, may have to park on the street*
