Have breakfast at this bistro. Nice ambience. You can view the menu by scanning the QR code on the table and follow the instructions. I had eggs with crepe and hot chocolate. There is also external sitting.

Went for a breakfast, it was a bad experienceRequested extra syrup because the crepe needed more syrup but they refused saying that it is expensive and there is no way to charge for it in their system!!! It was a very bad experience and the cook was mean and impaciente! The food couldn’t be finishedAs to the egg cheese croissant sandwich it was good

It’s places like this that make me doubt the restaurant review system. I don’t understand how it could have only four stars —I’ve been coming here for years and the food is always amazing. The croissants are perfectly flakey —I highly recommend the croissant breakfast sandwich. Anything you get here will rival what you get at a Parisian cafe.

Authentic french crepe. Giant cup of mocha and hot chocolateUPDATE 11/2023: The food quality is not as great as before. Smaller portion and the food has burned marks.

Staff is friendly, food is good, but they REQUIRE that you place the order online or through the app ( which doesn’t exist at least searching the iPhone App Store). Online is clunky, requiring email in two places, phone number, jumps around from screen to screen, then shunts you to join “Square” app to pay. Tiny tiny print difficult to read on the phone; clumsy thumbs led to one incorrect cc digit and I had to start over. Poor staff member, says everyone yells at him about the unmanageable app but there is no mechanism to place the order in person. I was persistent yesterday but today I finally gave up and left.

The food is mediocre. But the service is soooooo bad that I actually felt uncomfortable. The waiter looked incredibly put out when we asked for basic things like; cleaning the table or water refills. Finally, I was told that they had “run out” of iced tea when I asked for a refill. I would never, ever return here even though the atmosphere sitting outside was quite nice. The service is just so incredibly horrible that I don’t understand how they are still in business. They have you add a tip when placing your order (of course, otherwise tips would all be reflective of service), which is another clue. Skip this place and give a different restaurant your business!

Crepes are pretty bad (2 stars) - we had different sweet and savory options and all were undercooked, as you are eating the dough, but also I think the ingredients are not high quality. This was first visit after 4-5 years and the quality went significantly down. Scrambled eggs and bacon were ok, but not worth coming back.

I checked in and it said I was supposed to get a free mimosa and they said they don't do it anymore. Espresso it was OK crêpes were OK. Latte was not good. I'd pass on this place

This place has really gone downhill! I got the free breakfast as a guest of the Cardinal hotel next door. But the crepe as you can see is basically thin pancake mix chewy dough instead of traditional crepe dough. I've had many traditional French crepes and this is NOT it. It's pretty awful. There's barely any egg inside that I ordered. And on the side some sort of pickeled cabbage. The only plus is the big bowl of cafe latte that's rarely seen elsewhere. Oh well!

My friends come here almost every day and since I work 3 blocks away, we often meet for coffee or breakfast, which I enjoy. But today I arrived late, so tried lunch for the first time in months -- what a surprise! I had the Chicken pesto panini , which I have had before and liked. But today is was special: tender chicken, rich pesto and flavorful feta cheese, spinach, tomato, with a drizzle of olive oil for that added richness. It was delicious, with iced tea. After the recent heat wave, it's nice being able to sit out on the closed-off Ramona St. and enjoy the scene in downtown Palo Alto. Tucked in between Osteria Toscana and Coupa, it's quiet and peaceful and has its own pleasant vibe, and the staff are attentive and friendly. And when you want breakfast, I recommend the crepes, esp. the buckwheat -- you don't find them a lot of places, and these are done the right way.
