Extremely slow service on a not-busy Sunday afternoon. The staff are sluggish and rudely dismissive for unclear reasons.Won’t be coming back.

San Francisco's famous Coffee Shop.. The coffee isn't cheap. You can drink New-Orleans Style Coffee...and it's crowded with people. There tends to be a wating.

Blue Bottle Coffee - what else is there to say? There’s never been a single time they haven’t delivered. Great after an early morning SoulCycle class next door, perfect start to your day.

I've now been to this Blue Bottle three times and twice they've messed up my order. First time I had to email corporate for a refund - which they were very gracious about - since they served me an oat milk cappuccino when I specifically asked for regular milk. Then again, I asked for an extra hot cappuccino and they served it luke warm (not even regular hot). And I had to ask them to make it again :-(. I'm sorry but if I'm paying $6 for my small cappuccino, then you better get my order completely right. I'm gonna have to find another location - this one's out!

I have had to spend a lot of time up near the Stanford Shopping Center, unfortunately, due to its proximity to the hospital nearby.I am far from a coffee snob, I have fairly low expectations for customer service in general, and I have put in my time working for evil coffee corporations in the past. However, I have ordered more than 10 cappuccinos from this location and not a single once was it actually anywhere near to being a cappuccino, they have all been lattes instead. To be fair, this is fairly consistent amongst all the coffee shops I have been to, and I dont know why my fellow Americans in general have no idea what a cappuccino is, nor are employees trained on how to actually make a cappuccino. Do they think cappuccino is just another name for latte, and if not, what are they thinking they are actually doing differently? When your role is quite limited, why can't you do one of the few things you specialize in? It's like going to a sandwich shop where they only have 5 options and ordering the turkey avocado, but then they always make you a turkey cranberry instead. It is supposed to be about 50/50 thick foam and steamed milk. A 'dry' cappuccino would be even more foam and less milk, while a 'wet' cappuccino would be more milk than foam, from that 50/50 ratio. These wouldn't even qualify as 'wet' cappuccinos. Just the top layer has had a thin layer of foam. The coffee quality is good on average compared to other coffee brands, but they also charge you the premium for this affluent cafe experience. At the time of writing, a cappuccino costs 6 dollars, and lattes cost in the 6s. But hey, life hack, if you want to save some cents and love lattes, order the cappuccino and still get a latte!Service here has been hit or miss, but I would say mostly miss. Employees often don't greet you when you enter the store and they aren't the most outgoing nor friendly while taking orders at the register or when calling out readied beverages.

At Blue Bottle Coffee, nestled at 660 Stanford Shopping Center #650B, Palo Alto, CA 94304, ample parking sets the stage for your coffee journey. While the brew didn't transcend expectations on the first visit, the experience was marked by a satisfying cup, even if it didn't break new grounds. The pricing, albeit slightly higher than competitors, is justified by a welcoming ambiance and exceptionally friendly customer service. In the midst of ongoing construction in the area, this becomes the go-to spot, promising a reliable coffee haven until new options emerge.

I am giving this a 2 star review for one reason only. On January 12, we had great service, and the coffee was excellent. What was disappointing was there was flies flying inside and inside the display where there was food. The employees did absolutely nothing and definitely could see the flies. We were disgusted and other customers ? as we left..

No matter what time of the day you get coffee there's always a long line and about a 20 minute wait to get your drink. I feel like everyone who goes to this location knows this already. Solid coffee and good service.

The best cappuccino and mocha we’ve had for a while - strong full taste. If you like sugar in your mocha or hot chocolate, you could be disappointed. We came in about 11:30 am on the first of January - only two people were working, in about 10-15 minutes two more people joined the team.
