Got a pretty epic frozen hot chocolate. Whipped cream was tasty which is extremely important

Sometimes a little chocolate is just what I need in the heat of summer. OK, that's really just an excuse to have chocolate. I actually came to the area for some "real" food but got sidetracked when I saw the huge writing of the wall that read "Welcome a State of Chocolate". How could I not at least peek at the menu? Of course, one thing led to another and I found myself ordering a chocolate milkshake from this Canadian-based (Montreal) franchise. The chocolate milkshake ($7.15) was nice and light and even a little bit icy, which is the way I personally like it. Don't expect a thick, rich, or creamy concoction. It wasn't overly sweet at all, but you could definitely taste the essence of chocolate. And wow, the massive mound of whip cream topping was really the icing on the cake. Or icing on the milkshake I should say.Cacao 70 also serves crêpes, waffles, and fruit teas, but I'd stick with something chocolatey...duh, cacao?! There's also a variety of hot chocolates, and one with yummy Mexican chocolate. This is a small shop with a few outdoor tables, but you don't need a lot to satiate those chocolate cravings!
