They serve some darn good food. Ordered the oxtail and chicken combo and everything was cooked to perfection. Oxtail fell right off the bones and the chicken was super flavourful.Service here is going to knock a star off though. It looks like there's a decent amount of staff, but no one seems to know what they're doing. Took forever just to get seated! How is there not someone at the front to help seat customers??Would still recommend trying this place out at least once. Pretty empty if you're here earlier in the evening, but can fill up.

We got the coconut shrimp, jerk chicken, and curry shrimp plate. Food was delicious. The beans and rice really stood on its own! Can’t wait to come back to try the goat curry and the cornbread. What I think was the best part was the waitress who gave us great service.

Loved the incredible dishes! Jerk chicken wings were the best!! The menu price was wrong but they honored the listed price because their new menus were arriving next week. Was a bit disappointed in the lack of meat on the oxtails. The waitress was just ok. Very impressed with the flavor in the chicken and sauces. Definitely coming back!!

Some friends recommended the food from this place a while ago so we finally came to give it a try.A waitress led us to some outdoor seating, but after sitting for a while someone else came over to tell us that the table was actually dirty and she wiped it for us (very nice of her, but we had so many questions?).We then waited for another 30 minutes for someone to finally take our order. Apparently the person that was supposed to be in charge of our table didn’t want to do that??‍♀️ so someone else that felt bad for us was kind enough to come over and take our order. We then waited for another 20 minutes for the food to finally arrive. Everything seemed to take so long that at some point we were honestly thinking about just leaving?.As it got late, the temperature got lower, as it always does on a February evening in Palo Alto. We asked if we could have the outdoor heaters turned on so we wouldn’t be freezing outside . We were told that they were out of gas and there’s no way for them to turn on the heater. Luckily we survived through this because the food was kind of spicy and that definitely helped us stay warm. The lights outside were just some patio string lights, not super bright. Might be good for drinks but if you’re having a meal you might not want to sit outside after it gets dark. The other table was literally eating with their phone flashlights? so they could see what was in their plates. Shivering in the coldness and darkness .Overall the food was okay (I also don’t know what authentic Caribbean food is supposed to be like, would be inappropriate for me to comment on the authenticity) and the portion was pretty big, but the entire experience was not so good and service could definitely be improved?.

A hidden gem in Palo Alto! Food is great, tastes better than it looks.Jerk chicken wings have a spicy taste to it.Our server recommended braised oxtail. It was delicious! They also recommended collard greens. It’s a boiled and salted green leaves. Which was good but nothing fancy about it.Sweet potato pudding is actually a cake base with a scoop of ice cream on top. It was too sweet for me.Atmosphere is not fancy or anything like that. Good for friends gatherings and casual dining.Parking: Next to a free parking garage, convenient location

Im obsessed with the food here. They know what theyre good at and do it wonderfully. Also the tall black guy with the infectious smile is a super fun waiter to have.Dietary restrictions: A number of gluten free optionsParking: The area us usually very busy and there arent usually a lot of spots on the street or in the first floor of the parking garage. That said the garage has several levels

Wow, this food is very good!! I'll be a regular here. Amazing food for a decent price. The Ox tail is ridiculous ? highly recommend! They were really kind and substituted the rice out for collard greens.

The jerk pork was fantastic! Super juicy and well spiced. The plantains were delicious and sweet. The manager came up and chatted with us, super nice and clearly cares about the restaurant. He brought us a sample of the habanero hot sauce, which had great flavor- I ended up taking a small container home!
