For the price I love the food at Da Sichuan restaurant. I think some of the negative reviews are not taking into account the price range of the food (and tempering their expectations accordingly). I like their lamb dish and enjoyed their braised egg plant. The portion size is moderate. Service is nice and parking is at the back so it’s easy to drive toVegetarian options: Have a vegetarian section at back of English menuParking: Parking in the back

This is the worst Sichuan restaurant I have ever eaten. The menu says a portion of pickled fish is $17, but when I checked out it was $38.9 for a large portion. The menu didn't say large portion or small portion at all. The mushrooms and cabbage were sour and not tasty. It was not a Sichuan restaurant at all.

I got takeout here. Ordered twice cooked pork belly 回锅肉, mandarin chicken 辣子鸡, and beef chow fun 干炒牛河. The food was mediocre I think. Twice cooked pork belly had jalapeño and dried tofu in it. Also didn’t have enough fermented bean 豆豉 flavor for me. Mandarin chicken had good flavor, but the peppers were served whole instead of cut into short pieces. Beef chow fun flavor was also good, but had too much oil in it. Overall food wise I give it 3 star. Might come back and checkout dine-in experience, and maybe the score will go up with good service and good atmosphere.

For as good as the food was, and as nice as the staff was I was sad to see that I was the only person there. The food was incredible, not crazy salty or with a single overwhelming flavor. The staff members I saw were very hospitable and kind. Will definitely visit again and highly

I visited this restaurant with high hopes after seeing their posts on social media. As someone from Sichuan, I was disappointed to find that the actual taste and appearances of the dishes were far from authentic. They use fake pictures for advertisement. The actual dish is completely different. Please see my attached pictures as an example. First pic is what the owner posted the second pic is what I got

Food is ok (acceptable but below the average in the Bay Area). The main issue the owner is dishonest. You can compare the images in user reviews with those misleading posted by the owner to see the disparity :(

There is a fully vegetarian menu (you may need to ask for it, it's green). Specify you don't eat egg or dairy. Food was tasty; the dry pot tofu was really good. The "chicken" is closer to "sliced beef" in my opinion, so I was a little confused.

My usual Chinese place I order from was closed so I decided to give this a try. first of all I left special instructions In ordering my items For 2 pork fried rice I ordered no peas or carrots well in both of them they gave me the peas and cares were in there so my daughter couldn't eat them. Like how hard is it To follow simple instructions. The beef chow mein was actually really good. For the last and third their specialty deep fried chicken was a titem I ordered was the Marschuan deep fried boneless chicken and what a waste of money. It was all chili peppers and literally 7 tiny little pieces of chicken it couldn't even feed 1 person. The entire plate was all red chili peppers. No lie. I can't believe they have nerve to even call this as a chicken dish The little few pieces of chicken thst happen to be 8n the fulk plate of chili peppers were dry and disgusting. Literally like I said they literally just sold a plate of hot chili peppers. it was ridiculous total disappointment in this restaurant I will never order from here again. Total waste of $$$ and mind you these little portions of 4 items were almost $100. Ridiculous!!

Shocked by reviews saying this is authentic - the place is very much americanized. The lady was so extremely rude to Chinese customers while happily chatting with the white customers - I was just asking for water you don’t have to roll your eyes on me Jesus Christ. Would never go back.
