if you are looking for mediocre school lunch THIS IS THE PLACE!!! our food was COLD and FLAVORLESS!! Pasta was undercooked and the sauces were bland. We ordered "dine in" but were served takeout containers, plastic utensils and a tray. Not worth $22 + $20 for two Disgusting, vile, abominations of Italy. The interior is nice, but when you go to the bathroom, it's almost as bad as the porta potties you find at a carnival. NO toilet paper, NO toilet seat covers, NO PAPER TOWELS, NO SOAP!! the floor is WET AND STICKY and there is pee all over the toilet seat. I like how they have a " employees must wash their hands before returning to work" sign on the door, WHEN THERE IS NO SOAP?! This place is astonishing, truly astonishing.

"Fiorella" is a menu choice of Local Kitchens in Palo Alto, CA. The menu includes popular items such as appetizers, pasta, and Sicilian pizza. I don't care much for the wings, meatballs and pasta dishes, so I only order the Sicilian Pizza. On a Tuesday, at around 9pm, I ordered a Pepperoni Pizza w/ Olives added. Using the Local Kitchens App, I scheduled a pickup time of 930pm. I arrived at restaurant, and my pizza was packed up and ready for pickup. The customer service I received from Ava was outstanding. She offered me extra cheese and pepper for the pizza. She also encouraged me to review the food. When I showed her my previous review, she offered to give me a selfie showing off my pizza order. I asked for a bag for my order, but Ava said there's no bag large enough to hold the large takeout box. So how was the Pepperoni Pizza? Well, I think this pizza should of spent a little more time in the oven. It didn't seem under cooked. The edges were crispy and tasted buttery. The thick cheese was melted. But the sauce was a little runny and watery. I sensed there maybe a problem when she handed me the pizza, and the bottom of the box wasn't hot. I thought it was odd that the pizza wasn't super hot, since it was just made. It probably would of been a good idea to eat the pizza in the restaurant, rather than carry it outside in the cold weather. Oh well, next time. The Pepperoni Pizza has the following toppings - "Housemade Marinara Sauce, Mozzarella, Shaved Garlic, Chili Flake, Oregano, Grana Padana." I added black olives. It's a good pizza, but it could of been much better. I took it home and heated it up at 400*F for 10-mins on a middle rack. As expected, the rich flavors of the pizza emerged. So if you have the pizza delivered or carry out, heat it up in your oven. Local Kitchens @ Palo Alto has a dining area, so you can eat it there. Utensils and napkins are on the front counter. I ordered my pizza using the Local Kitchens App. It tells you if any menu items are unavailable, and tells you when your order is ready. You can also use it to see the different menus at the other Local Kitchens locations. Local Kitchen @ Palo Alto is located at 369 California Ave, between Birch St & Ash St. Free Parking behind restaurant at 350 Sherman. ( Sections of California Ave are closed to traffic ).
