Single-patron discrimination I guess because you feel there’s not going to be as much of a tip. There are 5 core steps to service, and like 12 micro steps. Meeting 1of5 core steps, and 3 of 12 micro steps is not impressive while watching all the larger parties get full service made this largely a rip off for me. I may as well ordered takeout, if you offer it. However the food was excellent. I recommend you train your employees that working in a restaurant their job is to impress and entertain (this is called an experience), not have the position just be an opportunity. I mean opportunity to receive a tip is what they seemed to consider this. “Hey Joe, quit busting tires. He Mary why work in a call center? You can work in restaurants and I heard Italico has a lot of rich people.”

Food was great. We can meet for a friend's birthday celebration. Pizzas are great! We would definitely come back here again.

Walked in w/o a reservation to celebrate a birthday. Warmly greeted and accommodated. Spinach salad was delicious topped with homemade potato chips, creamy goat cheese and profuse amount of pancetta. The Capriccio pizza had great toppings of prociutto, artichokes, olives. Regretting became soggy while we ate. Portions are copious and each dish easily feed two. The bombilini donuts are DELICIOUS! Great atmosphere. Lively, but the tables were nicely pleased so conversation was not impacted. The wait staff was wonderful. I would only have liked tablecloths! That would have matched the quality of the food and service.

It was my second time visiting Italico in Palo Alto. The first visit was 3 months ago, I ordered Spagetti di Mare and Shrimp as the side. While waiting for the orders to be served, they gave us bread and butter. It was all superb! The food, ambiance and the service. So I recommended it to my friends and brought them there last night (same location). For last night’s dinner, we had 2 pizzas (Margherita and San Danielle), Ravioli, Trofie, Spagetti di Mare, Shrimp and French Fries.I re-ordered Spagetti di Mare because I super love it from the last visit. Here’s my experiences last night:1) The noodle pasta for Spagetti di Mare was overcooked and not warm.2) Pizzas and all other dishes except for the French fries was cold.3) They did not gave us bread while waiting for our orders but the other table had.I know we said to serve it all together but atleast warm it up or cook it all together at the same time so it’ll still be warm and not overcooked. It is probably my last visit for this restaurant. I really hope they have consistency and improve more so they can still get a Michellin Star this year.

This is a nice place for a good meal. The only problem is sometimes it takes a long time to get your food. We recently went on a Thursday night with a group of five. We made it 40 minutes for the food to come out and then had to send some items back because they were cold. I have been to this restaurant several times and never had to send food back before but we always know the wait to get our food will not be less than 30 minutes. They do have a good wine selection and a few mocktails, but no bar.

Italico restaurante is the more upscale sister restaurant of Terún. It is get crowded very fast and the service is prompt. The pizza that we ordered were deceivingly simple but delicious. I strongly recommend ordering Casio E Pepe to share. The Pollo Millanese was cooked just right (crunchy outside and soft inside). Furthermore, it has great selection of wine to choose, we ordered Bocca Della Verita Primitivo which was very good. We ended our dinner with chocolate gelato, strawberry Panna Cotta and espresso from cafe Vergnano brand.Overall I enjoyed the total experience.
