“I had an amazing experience the other day. You’ve got to try the Octopus Carpaccio if you're into seafood—it’s incredibly tender and packed with flavor. And don’t skip the Bread & “Butter”; it’s a game-changer with its whipped bone marrow spread over warm, crusty sourdough. Absolutely delicious!I also tried the Cup of Gold cocktail while I was there. It’s a fantastic mix of bourbon infused with golden raisins, Madeira, honey, and just a hint of celery bitters, creating a unique, smooth flavor that’s both sweet and subtly earthy.Sitting on their rooftop, enjoying these incredible dishes and drinks, really made my day. The vibe up there is just so cool and laid-back—it's the perfect place to unwind and soak in the views over Palo Alto. Whether you’re looking for great food, tasty drinks, or just a chill spot to hang out, President’s Terrace is definitely worth a visit.”

Located at The Graduate Hotel in Palo Alto, The President's Terrace is a pleasant spot for dining and drinks. Its rooftop setting offers a nice view and a quiet atmosphere, away from the busy streets. The drink selection is good, with options for everyone, and the service is friendly and efficient. It’s a great place to relax with friends or have a peaceful evening out.

I had a wonderful time dining at the President's Terrace with my family. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, reminiscent of a Michelin-starred restaurant. The atmosphere on the rooftop added a special touch to our experience, making it a memorable evening. I highly recommend it for both the quality of the meals and the stunning views.

The drinks are phenomenal and definitely one of the best rooftop bars in the area! Try “West of Eden” for the fresh watermelon juice! The service is fast and excellent, and in particular Kae is an excellent host! We’ll be back soon!

I am so disappointed at this place. My husband and I came here for drinks after dinner. I don’t drink alcohol but I love mocktails. They didn’t have any on the menu so I asked the bartender if they have any. She told me she could make me a dealer’s choice. I was so shocked to find that we were charged $18 for (ginger ale) non alcoholic drink. If she had told me this was gonna be charged as a regular alcoholic drink, I would have said no thank you and just got a soda. I drink mocktails all the time when I go out but all the establishments I’ve ordered from either have it on the menu and if they don’t, they usually adjust the price by charging as another non alcoholic beverage that is already on the system. I will not be returning to this place again, that’s for sure. I feel robbed.

This rooftop bar offers some of the best panoramic views of the peninsula in cozy atmosphere, perfect for a special occasion or an early night out with friends. You'll need to take the elevator at the Graduate Hotel to reach this little lookout, so don't be surprised if your map leads you into a hotel lobbyThe space itself is intimate and stylish, with a room for about five small groups. It can get a bit cold on the rooftop, but thankfully some warm blankets are provided to ease the chill. The staff is quite attuned to making sure your visit is comfortable. The cocktail menu boasts creative and playful options, and the food menu is small but good for sharing. Be aware that the drinks come with a premium price tag. Overall a nice place for a special occasion.

My friends and I saw this place on social media and expected good vibes but the menu offered is severely limited. We were told if we wanted more options to head back down to the restaurant in the lobby. Crickets could be heard throughout the whole restaurant and outdoor terrace. The food served tasted like lunch cafeteria food. We got charged for stuff that never made it to the table. The food tasted like it was frozen and reheated. The sides that came with the food were literally potato chip bags served in small wooden dishes. We were offered an apology for the semi long wait on our food due to the cooks being on break. Our server/bartender told us that she was going to take care of our drinks for the huge inconvenience, but when we examined the bill the drinks were still on the bill along with some broccolini that never made it to us. I'm not one to ever leave a poor review as I work in the restaurant industry as well, but I don't think my friends and I will give this place another chance. The whole experience felt like a waste of time and MONEY. Super overpriced for what I could get in any school/hospital cafeteria.

Horrible food and horrible drinks, bartenders don't even know how to make a whiskey sour. Overpriced junk.

I came here with my girlfriends for a cocktail last night. We have been looking forward to trying out this rooftop terrace in Palo Alto. We ordered 3 margaritas with a grand marnier float. The drinks were tasty and the atmosphere beautiful. We then got our bill and were totally shocked. Our small drinks were $29 a piece. Total sticker. After a lot of discussion with the server then bartender they were going to take $6 off. We waited quite a while for them to address our complaint. Finally a manager came up and said for us not to worry they were comping our drinks. We were grateful for the generous gesture however we will not return or recommend it as we were not assured that this charge was a mistake so it must be the actual price for their margaritas.

The rooftop bar is situated in a charming boutique hotel in downtown Palo Alto, with friendly and welcoming service staff. It is a delightful and rare gem in the peninsula area. Reservations are strongly recommended as the rooftop bar opens at 4pm and fills up quickly; by 4:15 on a Saturday afternoon, they were turning away unreserved guests. Arriving early, we got drinks from the hotel lobby bar and brought them up to the rooftop without any issue. It's a fantastic spot to relax and socialize with friends while enjoying the sunset. We had a delightful experience during our visit.
