The food is very nice. The service is very nice. The environment is good. The table is a little bit small.

I brought my parents here for a celebratory dinner and wanted to love this place, but we won't be back. Pros: Easy to make a reservation, easy parking, seated promptly in a quiet nook, and our server was exceptionally friendly. We generally enjoyed the food and drinks, and the restaurant comped our appetizer because of the delay noted below, which was appreciated. Cons: Food took nearly an hour to arrive after we ordered. Not ideal, but the kitchen is busy, we all make mistakes, fine. We were informed of the appetizer's removal as we received our check, which again, was appreciated. However, as the manager was apologizing for the delay, he exclusively directed his attention to my dad, as if the rest of the table didn't exist at all. This may sound like a silly thing, but there was not even a split second of eye contact towards us. Not one. Even if you assume who's paying (understandably, alebit incorrectly), why not make the simple gesture of acknowledging the full table when explaining a delay that's affecting us all? It was rude. Otherwise, while we enjoyed the prime rib and two steaks we ordered, I unfortunately didn't get the level of "wow, this tastes amazing* that I'd hoped for. Their $8 glass of lemonade was, annoyingly and without exaggeration, almost entirely ice. Overall: Although our visit seems not be the norm, I wouldn't recommend coming here. For the cost, you can easily get a higher quality dining experience elsewhere.

We went to Sundance to celebrate my husband's birthday, and this OG place did not disappoint. The vibe was lovely. The service and timing from our waitress, Ashley G., were outstanding. Complimentary freshly baked bread. Free mud pie (ice cream cake) dessert for the birthday boy. Both of our steaks were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The veggies were still crisp, and the garlic mashed potatoes were to die for. Their Ceasar salad was perfect with crisp romaine, perfect dressing and cheese ratio, anchovies, and crunchy (not hard) croutons. Lastly, their drinks were so good we had to get another round. This place is a solid choice for a nice night out. PS: Don't forget to grab some Andes chocolate on your way out.

Both the prime rib and filet were cooked to perfection. Vegetables were fresh both the baked potato and roasted garlic mashed potatoes were delicious. Our server Ashley was friendly, confident with suggestions and provided an excellent dining experience! We will most definitely return and hope to be seated in Ashley's section. Ambiance is that if an old school steakhouse from the menu to the white table cloths. Perfect!!

We were a party of six, with two older children. We ordered steak and Chilean sea bass, and everything was cooked exactly as requested, and seasoned perfectly. The children had split a steak, but each plate came with the full complement of sides. When a complementary slice of mud pie was served the birthday boy, each child was given a mini sundae. Service was attentive and timely, never intrusive. This place never disappoints.

We absolutely adore this steakhouse in every way!Their service is spectacular: everyone treats us with so much grace and warmth, from the bartenders and waiters/waitresses to the folks to help clear the table. And lastly, Peter the manager is amazing - we’ve never met a friendlier or more helpful manager! The food is delicious and extremely reliable in quality. We’ve tried various steak options, soup, salad, sides, and drinks - Everything is perfect. The location speaks for itself across the block from campus, and we love the cozy and classic interiors and decor - it’s the epitome of a classic steakhouse. We’ve become regulars and come back at least 1 time per week ?. Aside from date nights, we’ve also had business dinners here too. After a busy day, we take a lot of comfort in knowing we always have a great experience here!

Took a chance on this classic after a Quick tour of Palo Alto and Stanford with my work colleagues all visiting from around the country for work. We were able to get a table in the bar which suited our casual just fine. I had a Caesar salad which had house made dressing and anchovies. It was superb! Romaine crisp and the perfect ratio of Parmesan croutons and dressing. For my main course I had grilled Pacific swordfish with a beurre blanc sauce. It was a perfectly cooked and the sauce was just right. The loaded potato was fantastic, sour cream, chives bacon bits and butter. The carrots and broccoli were crisp. To completely go nuts I had Gheradelli hot fudge sundae with coffee ice cream which was awesome. A good fine dining experience.

And lastly, Peter the manager is amazing - we've never met a friendlier or more helpful manager! The food is delicious and extremely reliable in quality. We've tried various steak options, soup, salad, sides, and drinks - Everything is perfect. I enjoy the classic nature of the dishes (light seasoning, buttered veggies, horseradish, etc). It reminds me of eating in the Cotswolds or London. Came for my husband's birthday. Service was very attentive, cheerful and enthusiastic. His steak was apparently top-notch. I had the special fish which was also delicious. Everyone wished my husband a happy birthday and they brought him a dessert with two lit candles on it - and two spoons! We had a lovely booth tucked on the side. We'll be back.

The white chocolate crème brûlée is rich and creamy with just the right amount of sugar. The ribeye is really delicious! I appreciate that the waiters and waitresses are very friendly and seem to enjoy their work. The whole restaurant is very clean and has a classic statehouse style.
