I've noticed more salad places popping up in the area and decided to check out this spot to switch up our usual trip to Mendocino Farms. Note that this is a to-go place for pick up only. No indoor seating. We ordered the samurai steak salad and subbed out the cucumbers for the croutons. The girl working was patient with us, and also threw in the sweet heat dressing for us to try! Customer service was amazing, if not the best I've received in a while (sadly). I loved how many options there were, and the salad was good, but I doubt I'll be going out of my way to come here again.

I live on the Stanford campus and The Good Salad is within a short walk from my apartment. I have passed by this place a couple of times a week for the last 6 months and finally decided to give it a try. WOW! Just like the other 5 star reviews on this page, I was totally blown away. I feel like for the cost of a salad, you get quite a bit of food compared to other establishments. I ordered the Blazing Bird and added steak to it because I wanted to try the beef and chicken. To be totally honest, you can't go wrong with either option. I ordered this salad with the pesto dressing and OMG - it's heaven! I've never loved a salad dressing before and I will certainly be back.

As a heads up, this location is Pick up/To go only. Staff here is super friendly and helped me with my choices on what salad to try out. I got the samurai steak and blazing bird. The samurai steak is similar to an asian sesame salad with tri tip steak added, and the blazing bird is a Chipotle chicken salad. Both were very fresh and tasted great! I wish they came with a bit more meat though, the small cubes of chicken and tri tip didn't really make a difference.. you would definitely need to pay for the "more protein" to make it worth it.

These salads are amazing! I had the blazing bird salad and the dressings were so delicious. I also liked the little crunchies and the big scoop of guacamole. I definitely had to finish it all. I don't think I'll be going back to Sweet Green anymore.

Really fresh and delicious. I love that the ingredients are clearly labeled so you know what you're getting! It's also so wonderful that this is walking distance from campus. The staff was very friendly! I will definitely return.

The salads here are so good! My husband I have been looking for another good salad place and The Good Salad totally hits the spot. Also, a huge thank you for the owners responding to my garlic allergy questions via email so I knew what was safe to order. And I love that the team always confirms no garlic when I pick up my app order. It's 100% my responsibility to ask about garlic since I have the allergy, but it feels so nice when the team brings it up first. Great job team!

The Good Salad, surpassed my expectations! The ingredients were fresh, the presentation was great, and the salads were yummy! I'll absolutely be getting my salad fix from here from now on.
