We went there today hoping to have a nice lunch I ordered the peanut satay as well as a shrimp in pork wonton soup and the fried rice We also asked to have everything brought together First came in the chicken sauté it was so over cooked it was robbery Then came is it wonton soup it was off smelling so fishy not even edible I took one sip and sent it back They didn't offer me a refund or even to exchange it Then after I was done not eating my order eventually the fried rice came which was good They automatically added a tip so our Lunch with two drinks was $138 I've never been so disappointed in a lunch and the staff was not accommodating as well highly not recommended save your money

VERY EXPENSIVE. $90 for a noodle dish, plus egg roll and potsticker appetizers. They add a mandatory 20% gratuity and then ask for additional tip. Food and service were ok but definitely not worth the price.Their published menu prices are wrong. The noodle dish that says $19 online is $30 when you open their menu. Do not believe their online menu price.Noodle dish was on the greasy side, but had hand pulled noodles which was like home made noodles.Pot stickers and egg rolls were fine. The place smelled like a hospital (lots of bleach), so they clearly sanitize… a lot.

For a takeout order I asked for the orange chicken lunch special $11 and a latte with oat milk. They said it doesn't come with a side of rice so I ordered a side rice. When I arrived I noticed that the bill was $55. He said they no longer do the lunch special. Instead they charged me $30 for the orange chicken + $7 rice + latte (they gave me an espresso because they didn't have any milk alternatives). They didn't include a napkin or utensils in the takeout bag so I had to ask for that. And then when I sat down to eat, it was cold and tasted synthetic. Do better

The most horrible restaurant at Stanford Shopping center!!!! The food is disgusting now!!! Quality had gone down tremendously along with their customer service! The food is raw and chewy and if you complain the owners fight with you!!!!!!!! Please don't eat here just go next door to California pizza kitchen or P.F. Chang's!!! The food is bad and you still have to pay for the raw food. If you complain the owners tell you to GET OUT because according to them food is great!!! The price is high quantum low and quality horrible. Please stay away from this horrible place. THIS PLACE WILL SHUT DOWN SOON FOR SURE AS NO ONE REALLY GOES TO THIS RESTAURANT DUE TO FOOD QUALITY AND SERVICE. If I could give it 0 stars I would!!!!!!! Adding in that another reviewer stated chicken is chewy yet owners still argue it's not!!!!

WAY OVERPRICED....TO AN INSANE LEVEL! We had lunch there today.....2 women and 1 boy. $144.67 and we had fried rice, noodle dish, and potstickers. That's it. The fried rice is unauthentic, the noodle dish had good flavors yet greasy. Potstickers were good. Service was fine. Sitting outside was nice but NOT WORTH the over inflated cost. I rarely (if ever) post a negative review in general, but this was egregious.

Don't waste your money or time here -- it's incredible how bad this place is. Contrary to the other reviews, our service was alright. Pretty on point until it came to the check & it took forever for someone to help us. But the food. The food is TERRIBLE. The orange chicken was chewy, and had a highlighter orange color to it. The coconut fried rice had no flavor. But more than anything: DO NOT get the wonton soup. I have never, ever, had something so rancid. I *love* wonton soup and this tasted like it came straight from a sewer. You could smell the stench coming from the soup. Awful. 0/10 would never come here again.

The food and service were ok, but the business seems sketchy. Two of us ate here for lunch. Like another person said, $8 for a Diet Coke? Absurd. Also, when you get the bill to sign, there is a space for the tip like usual. However, if you read the bill, they've already added 20% for the tip, and the space is for an additional tip. Very sneaky.

Our waitress was so kind and friendly but the food was horrible and overpriced! I should have checked reviews before we went here. The hot and sour soup was thick and lacked flavor. The Xiao Long Baos were undercooked so the wrapper was raw and gooey and white. I didn't have any of the shu mai, but my husband said they were blah. We were wondering how this restaurant is surviving. Maybe we ordered the wrong items?

Awful. They couldn't even answer their phone. I was literally on hold for 15 minutes. The servings are small and way overpriced. Who charges a $7 for steamed white rice? Outrageous...don't waste your time or money at this place, I'd rather go to Chef Chu's in Los Altos.

The servers are lovely. So that's the two stars. The guy at the end of the bar (always there and omnipresent) who I assume is the owner, sits there with a very heavy and burdensome presence. Hopefully this restaurant is a hobby for him because he makes it feel like you're an unwelcome visitor in his house. Not the best! Here is the kicker though- the Diet Coke was $8! That's more pricey than the Four Seasons in Maui! Double the price, actually. I just cannot justify 10 ounces of soda for $.80 an ounce. I wouldn't know, but that seems like the price of a different kind of coke. On entry a sign on the door reads that outside visitors that use their restroom will be charged $20. Here's an idea- charge the normal $3.50 for a coke, stick the other $4.50 in restroom surcharge and call it day. It bums me out, but no way I am coming back. No one likes a rip off!

Food is pretty and well presented but flavor is not very good. Nice location in the middle of Stanford shopping center but took us forever to find ... had to ask a few shops along the search to guide us. Service was slow and there was literally no one else in the restaurant. Pricey but not worth it. May give it another shot sometime in the future.

I eat out almost everyday and due to the nature of my business I go to many high end pricey restaurants as well. However this restaurant although they have a good tasting food their prices are crazy specially for the offering. They charge you arms and legs and they don't even give you that much food. I paid $35.00 for a Chow-fun Ribeye that came in with 5 stripes of meet. I paid 35.00 for baby back rips for half rack that barely had any meat on it. I was wondering why no one was here when I arrived. And to top it off they charge you 20% mandatory tip and they call it a service charge. We paid $25.00 tip for two plates. I am so upset that We didn't even get enough food that I am about to go to another restaurant right from here. SMH It's getto in here bro.....

Food was ok I would say average Chinese food. Service was good but beside us there was only one other table ordering from the restaurant. But the prices where outrageous I don't mind paying top dollar for top of the line food or the experience. But not for average food . That's why I gave it 2 stars an beside a automatic 20% gratitude they charged a service fee of 20% again

We popped in here hoping for a quick meal at 1pm. The price is kind of high but we wanted a nice cool place since it's the first hot day of the north cal winter so we accepted the price tag, with 20% service charge imposed on all purchases (pandemic overhead.... We get it and we're ok with it). We deliberately ordered the salad entrees thinking they would come out fast. The table that got in after us was getting their appetizers, fried rice, side dishes yet our table was still empty. The waitress came around multiple times apologizing and saying that it'd be 2 more minutes.... But apparently 2 minutes move at a difference pace on her watch. Finally my husband's salad entree came but mine didn't. After checking with the waitress- turned out the kitchen never made it. So after 45 minutes of waiting they made one dish for us. We asked for the other dish to be canceled, ate our very underwhelming "scallop salad" ($33 plus 20% gratuity), and left. One hour at this place and 1/2 of the party didn't get to eat. I understand that many businesses are trying to get back on track as we phase out of the pandemic. Just in case you're in a hurry or expect the quality of food and service to match what you pay for, this place isn't it.

The menu is much less GF friendly than before. They used to have really good gluten free orange chicken and gluten free sesame chicken which is hard to come by considering it's coated and most places use flour. They used to use a starch to coat their chicken before frying it. Apparently now they've changed it so neither is no longer gluten free, and they're using flour. I wont be coming back anymore.
