Zoom Cafe is solid. I came in for lunch while my mom was in surgery and the cafe crew was kind and caring (two awesome women working hard and enjoying their day). The selection is pretty okay, with premade cold meals, canned or bottled beverages, chips, fruit, miscellaneous snacks and a decent menu of sandwiches, salads, sides and breakfast items. It's mainly open from early morning and afternoon (about 330pm). I enjoyed an Italian Roasted Vegetable w/ a small mod. Very vegetarian friendly menu, with some vegan-able options. You can grab condiments, utensils, etc off to the side and the setup is really cute. Order inside the cafe and can dine just outside at one of their many round tables, though they do fill up quick! It's very quaint, organized and inviting. I didn't enjoy any coffee or tea, but heard great things from one of the nurses.

This is a review for the Zoom Caffe at the Stanford Cancer Center location. They are located on the ground level. Walk through the front entrance and head to the back, past the staircase, toward the lab. You'll find it on the right side just beyond the lab. Sometimes you need to stop by the lab to get blood work done and then wait for lab results before your same day doctor's appt. This cafe is a convenient stop while you wait between lab visit & doctor's appt. Grab lunch, a snack or coffee/tea before your appt. They have breakfast combos, sandwiches, salads, bagels, pastries, coffee and tea. The coffees are affordable here ... a 16oz mocha is $4.95 and a 16 oz latte is $4.75. They have a counter with sugar and condiments, but there was no creamer at the time I visited. There are 8 tables outside, in front of the cafe. And there are also some chairs nearby across from the cafe and near the staircase.

Empanada are supposed to be crunch. It was soft and way over microwaved. The females at the counter looked at me as if i was being av"karen". White women sjoukd be able to cimplain without being stereotyped. The empanada which looked great in thr case was terrible aling with the attitide of the staff. So disappointing.

Finally got the chance while waiting for my dad who had an appointment. Had a cappuccino and all type bagel. The cappuccino was good. Just make sure that you order the correct size as my coffee lingo didn't kick in. Bagel was very good. It is a very tiny shop. Much tinier than even the one in San Jose.

Thank so much for giving away free drinks to healthcare workers! We at Stanford appreciate it! Their hot and cold beverages are very well worth it. Thank you!

This place is located inside the Stanford Cancer center. As soon as you walk in, you will see it right behind the stairs next to the radiology department. There's some tables and chairs right in the front so you won't miss it. This cafe gets super busy in the early morning and lunch time and the line sometimes goes out the door... the wait time can take up to 15-20 minutes during those peak hours. They have a good selection of sandwiches and my favorite is the Pesto chicken panini. Their drinks are also pretty good! i have tried their iced coffee, iced white mocha and their frappes! My favorite is their white mocha frappe and mint chip & cookies frappe. They also have a bunch of pastries in the morning but they run out fast.. i only see cookies left in the afternoon. And lastly, i found my new favorite kettle cooked chips here! It's the Deep River Chips brand and oh man.. the Maui Onion flavor is the one! They have a variety of all the other flavors and it goes so well with my panini sandwich. This is a convenient place for lunch for employees and patients who don't want to walk across to the main hospital to get food.
