My family and I love to come her every now and again, the service is always well and orders are often quicker than they say (we tend to call in to make sure). The decor is nice and there are even free sauces, napkins, etc. I have not had from the Mexican Menu but the Asian Menu is definitely worthwhile. I've had both the shrimp and beef chow miens before and I recommend them, but the shrimp chow mien does only have a few shrimps and the beef is carne asada.

The chinese food was decent and a good value. Everything had too much sauce on it and the ingredients didn’t appear fresh. Also a bit of an unpleasant smell inside. The service was really good though - everybody that worked there was really nice and friendly. I don’t see an option to recommend the chow mein but that would be my choice. Inexpensive, good value, not fresh.

Food NOT Mexican at all. Large amount of under cooked fries as all that this place going on. If you like overpriced potatos, this is your place. Palo Credo deserves better.

The place was clean and quiet. I was very disappointed in the food. The chips were burnt, which was sad. I couldn't even finish one taco, the chicken was boiled but not shredded enough and most of the cilantro was stem.

They put the wrong thing on my burrito and they had a french fry in the middle of my taco. Called and asked if they could make my order they right way and the woman was rude. So I won't be goin back there again.

Shasta County has a few examples of multi genre food restraunts. They're kind of the precursor to the whole fusion thing. Papi's offers Mexican, American and Chinese food and honestly does a good job at all three. Great place to get food for a big group. They have a drive through and you can order inside which is nice when you have a big vehicle that won't fit through the driveway. Gets busy when the high school is out. I have never eaten anything there that I didn't like and they are reasonably priced and you definitely a good value for what you pay .Kid-friendliness: Small place but always friendly and welcoming. They have a variety of food so if you have a kid that wants a burrito, another that wants a hambuger and you want chicken teriyaki than this is the place for you. All of the different options are definitely good and makes for an easy one stop shop for a family.

I've never been the biggest fan of Papis in the first place but there are not a lot of options in Palo but today will be my last time.Last minute I decided to get lunch there today and I was shocked at the prices as well as the quality of the food.I ordered 3 rolled tacos at the price of 8.99 before tax which is ridiculous for 3 rolled tacos. Go anywhere else and you are paying a max of 4.99. If the rolled tacos were actually tasty I wouldn't of minded the price as much but they were burnt on the ends and the pork had zero flavor. It tasted like tasteless mush.I had what I thought was guacamole on my tacos but it was just mashed avocado which was disappointing. I also love a good green sauce but it tasted sour and off.Honestly don't waste your money, for nearly the same price you can drive over to ortegas and have an amazing meal.
