It’s the kind of place that should almost require a bib! Beef ribs were huge! Pretty good lunch deal. I’d pass on the steak fries next time. Hope to make it back up soon to try the brisket!
Great BBQ and a hometown environment. Restrooms and sink for customers is outside which isn't ideal, but had a great meal and can't complain. I live in St. Louis and used to live in KC and have had BBQ in Texas and North Carolina, so my BBQ standards are high. Sauces are okay (spicy is best) but the meats were great!

An institution with the best brisket in town.Small funky lil shack on Sepulveda you'd drive right by if you didn't already know it was there and were specifically looking for it.They have a lovely well appointed dimly lit dining room and the waitresses are nice and make effort to be charming in that comforting way restaurant staff used to be back in the day.But I'm going to assume most, like me, phone and simply pick up their order to take out.Mostly I assume to also like me maintain...read full review
