“Being Japanese, I'd eat bentos at school, gatherings, fundraisers, and so forth--it's simple comfort. Occasionally, the family would drop off Bento 2 Go for my Grandma, so after running errands she requested we pick up a meal here. It's a casual and no-frills spot. Easy-to-read menu, well-priced dishes, ample options, and friendly down-to-earth service. Ordering is simple--done at the counter with dine-in or take-out. We chose the latter but there are a few tables inside. Japanese paintings and decor fill the restaurant reminding me of my Grandma's home. Grandma wanted some bentos so we got the Salmon Bento Box and Chicken Bento Box. The bento is generously packed with shrimp and veggie tempura, well-portioned protein, California roll, rice, and salad. She loves their tempura--crispy and tasty. Both proteins were tender and juicy with a nice teriyaki glaze. They also serve other rice bowls, sushi, and stir fry. Considering there aren't many eateries in Kingsburg--Bento 2 Go is a one-of-a-kind place. This is nothing fancy, but great for the area. This is a spot my Grandma and family enjoy so I know we'll be back. Find them in the shopping center off Sierra Street with free parking in the lot.“

“Best Tempura Vegetables in the Valley. The Chicken & Steak bowl is GREAT & both the Chicken & Steak are cooked to Perfection. Only dislike, is being charged $1.00 extra per each extra Teriyaki sauce, seems excessive, but the Food is Great & they are Extremely Quick to prepare orders to go. Another Winner ? for a local dining option.“

“For Sanger, great place. For Sanger, very expensive. The atmosphere is severely lacking and the amount of take out they do is very disruptive when you're sitting there. The food was good, although the sushi I ordered had way too much cream cheese. I miss smaller sushi rolls where you can order different kinds. For $20 a roll, that's a lot of one flavor. The edamame was cooked and salted perfectly. Staff was great...Sanger water wrecks the flavor of soda. Trust me, don't drink the water!! They need a screen up so the people picking up and paying for take out aren't disruptive. Smaller rolls so we can order more flavors would be great too.“

The food is delicious, and we highly encourage and recommend it to everyone. The waitress we have been so lucky to have on many occasions is gracious, polite, courteous, helpful, respectful, and thoughtful. She always serves with a smile. The atmosphere is more than the lovely decorations. It is friendly, relaxing and comfortable.“

“Can't even begin to tell you how much my husband and I enjoyed our meal! He had the sashimi, and being that he used to live in Japan, he definitely has refined palate. This is the best sashimi he has had in the central valley. Throw in the sushi (which is the perfect bite size) and the bacon fried rice and you are one happy camper. We enjoyed our meal at the pop up with Fools Craft Cider and paired it with their amazing cider cocktails, what a dream! We'll be back very soon!“
