Cute little cat themed Boba shop, what’s not to like? The drinks themselves were OK for the price, didn’t really stand out compared to all the other Boba shops in old town. The milk tea I tried tasted a bit artificial. It’s a small shop with a few seating options and a table or two. The staff was nice and the service was quick, the kiosk was very easy to order from.

Drinks were delicious and service was relatively quick! The space is really clean. Ambiance would have been perfect if it weren't for the obscene music being played overhead. Cute place, bring earplugs for your kids.

I stopped here on a whim as I was walking around Old Town Pasadena Saturday and it was quite chilly/rainy (and silly me didn't have a jacket or umbrella on), so I was looking for a warm drink to keep me cool on my walk back home. 3CateaGo is simple, has cat decor in artwork and pillows throughout and has multiple kiosks to online order. In the front of the cash register is a photo of all the drinks that can be hot and the staff member there helped me make a decision which was helpful. I ordered the Mochi Ube with 'less sweet' and hot (extra $0.25) so my drink including tax/tip was $8. The drink also was a luke-warm at best, and got cold within 10 minutes. The initial taste was just warmed milk at first. I wish I got more of the Jasmine Green Tea flavor. Because the drink was in a hot cup, it wasn't clear so I actually didn't know the drink was stirred up when I started drinking it. So by the end I saw the layer of mochi and purple yam at the bottom, which both tasted delicious. The mochi was thick but still slurpable through a straw and the yam was dense and not too sweet. I think would have made my drink review much different if all the elements were stirred together at the start. I would consider coming back (and getting this drink again) now knowing what I know!

There are so many Asian tea places in SGV so most end up tasting the same or having the same menu. But I really like Catea for its cat theme and their unique drinks! It feels unique because we decided to try their mochi series which I haven't seen before and it was so good! Ube mochi is my favorite but they have seasonal ones too. Their avomango drink is also very good with bits of mango in an avocado smoothie. The Pasadena location is nice without a wait so I always go there compared to the San Gabriel one.

Came here in the 12/14 afternoon and ordered a AvoMango sweet dew and it's disappointing. Tried the same thing at their San Gabriel store but the one I got here today has much less AvoMango in it. After a few sips, all I could taste was ice.

I heard from word-of-mouth that 3Catea has reputable authentic boba drinks. Located along Green Street in Old Pasadena, it is not difficult to miss their location. The ambiance is very cute because of the cat paintings that are posted on their walls. (Cat persons like me would appreciate their store.) I came at around 1:30pm on a Sunday. It was not as busy as expected but there was at least one or two staff working that day. You may order using their kiosks and would need to enter your name upon completing the transaction. Also note, they only accept cashless payments including card. I ordered a Coconut Milk Slush Paradise. It comes with popping boba, but I opted to add brown sugar boba. My order was ready within 5 minutes. It was super creamy, not overpowering and had a consistent balance of shaved ice and coconut milk. I'm not used to chewing popping boba, but it grew on me after a few sips. Last but never the least, I am a huge fan of their brown sugar boba because it is warm, freshly made, super chewy and not too sweet! I'll be back again to try my new favorite drink and other items on their unique menu.

I went to the 3Catea in City of Industry on accident and I became a fan. Learned there was a location in Pasadena and this location is a lot easier for me to get to. Surprised there was a location closer I had to come and check it out. Pasadena location has the same feel as the City of Industry except this location is tiny. There is a GO in the name so I assume it is only a pick up location. (not 100% true) Anyways, this location is cute and has all the cat vibes that you could ever ask for. This time around I ordered the #1 drink which was AvoMango Sweet Dew. This drink is so good. The combination of sweet and tart is perfect. Perfect in the sense of one can over power another but on the next sip, it gets corrected. Either way I am a fan of it and can't wait to come back to try a new drink. The cat theme may have influenced my judgement of this place as I have become a first time cat daddy IRL. Parking: metered street parking, paid private lots VERDICT: Rinse and repeat

Cant' go wrong with the mango milk and ceylon milktea. My girlfriend and I must make a stop at 3catea anytime we're passing by Rowland Heights or getting dinner in the area; no exceptions! I recommend ordering ahead of time on fantuan

Love this boba spot. Love the colors and it's a cute date spot. I usually get the avocado mango boba here but without the boba due to the calories. But their boba is soft and chewy, how it should be. I've tried a couple of other drinks from my friends and they are good too. There's not many options on the menu here though. Plus there's literally hot pot next door too. 2 of my favourite types of food.

Here's What I Got: *I usually get 50% sweetness at boba stores Osmanthus Coconut Fusion w/Osmanthus Jelly: - [10/10] - Nice STRONG, floral tea flavor (osmanthus oolong) - SUPER GOOD WITH OSMANTHUS JELLY - 50% was PERFECT Coconut Milk Slush Paradise: - [10/10] - Very refreshing & strong coconut flavor - 75% was perfect - Comes with agar (crystal) boba !! The staff was INCREDIBLY nice and accommodating I think this place is a good place to work/study for a pair. It's quite small (as are the tables), but there are outlets available!
