Went for Valentine’s Day dinner… keep in mind that most “holiday” meals with a set menu are generally inflated in costs. But showcase the “best of…” the restaurants offerings. In this case the food was tasty…IF you have the stomach capacity of a 4 year old. You know those fancy restaurants that have one or two bites of food and some swirled sauces on the plate for presentation… welp, this was a version of that.Portions were ridiculously small almost angry worthy. The food quality and flavor is good but cmon, 4 pieces of tofu? In an Italian restaurant?Beet salad with literally one slice of beet and 1.5 bites of cabbage? It was like getting served after dinner mint sized portions for your actual meal.Server was nice, I’d give a 4 out of 5 since he did not follow up at all after the initial order or check on drinks.Oh and an automatic 20% gratuity on the check. All in all the food is tasty, service is good by today’s lower standards, but the price to value ratio is -5 starsBut hey if you’re on a diet, this is the place to go!!! 5 bites and your whole meal is done!!Might be worth a chance to try again on a regular menu and dining evening…we’ll see

Fantastic food, service and lovely ambiance. First time here over the weekend. I'd passed by this place so many times. We had the steak and chicken dishes, along with a Butterscotch dessert. The staff was so wonderful with helpful suggestions and we also heard they have live jazz occasionally. Parking was easy in their lot. Will be back!

Literally still sitting here at the restraunt as I write this. KASS is the absolute best and made our night so much more fun!!!! The food is delicious and they change their menu often so you'll always be able to try something new.

Local gem - great food, attentive friendly service, casual ambiance. Great jazz and wine maker events too! Love BK!

BACCUS' KITCHEN REMAINS ONE OF MY FAVOrite restaurants. The wine selection is fantastic Brendan finds unusual wines that dont cost a lot and pair wonderfully with food. It is worth asking for his suggestions! The menu changes so you can go again and again for different meals. I always want to go back.Parking: Parking next to restaurant and across the street for free. Takes the stress out of eating

Great cozy little local place for excellent food and atmosphere. The menu is a bit limited, but I always find something that hits the spot. Yum. ❤️

The inside was really cute and cozy which created for a nice ambience...but the food was mediocre at best. The curry ketchup and the fries I found weird. And the waiters were a little awkward. The food came really fast though which was good. Our waitress gave us a free bread crostini (I think it's called?) and when we didn't eat it she said she didn't like it as well which I found a strange comment to say. I honestly probably won't be back

The atmosphere was great. To be fair this was our first visit. The menu was limited to which was fine. We mainly picked this place because it was walking distance from our place we were staying and the biggest factor was they are dog friendly.

Went here again this time for the themed dinner for 2 on Tuesdays. In December they have a Charles Dickens theme (English food). No problems with the food this time. Everything was tasty as usual. We look forward to coming again.

Consistently good gem of a joint tucked away in northern Pasadena. Seasonal menus and interesting specials make it a solid option to revisit. Been here a half dozen times in the past couple years and never had a bad meal.

Always a treat with beautifully plated unique food and great service. Very live room so can be noisy.

I was there for a wine dinner. How creative the menu was! Paired perfectly with the wine. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. I've been for regular dinners too, and they are just wonderful. They also have live jazz concerts. It's not easy to find as there is vague signage. So come and try Bacchus. You will come back!

Been here twice and plan to go again soon. Hopefully they make the bootine/poutine a permanent dish. I highly recommend it. Make sure if you go with someone else that you order different things. I’m sure between your orders you will find some nice dishes and dishes you really love.
