We enjoy hanging out. Last night we arrived in this excellent place which friends recommended to us. We had a lovely time there with excellent food and a nice stuff and a great chef. We added this fine restaurant in our phone list and we shall certainly go again soon. We deeply recommend.

I came here on a Saturday night and the place was closed at 8 PM. Not sure if they're no longer in business or what.

Came across this place while walking around old town Pasadena. I personally liked their food better then boiling crab and the prices weren't too crazy either. I believe we spent $79 for two people. Keep in mind, my boyfriend and I pigged out.

I bought a deal from this place off of groupon...and been here twice both times closed when they said they were supposed to be open. Number doesn't work a complete scam

What a great spot! Came here with my wife and we started with a pound of clam and a pound of shrimp. Both were delicious! The shrimp were a very decent size and very fresh. We went with medium hot and that was perfect! (We like spicy food) the clams though... wow. Woow. We ended up having two pounds of that stuff. It was perfect.

Sadly tried to stop by for dinner and they closed. I sympathize it's hard to survive in Old Town and the location was perhaps not ideal. Hope there is a good use for the space and hopefully another shrimp place will come to Old Town.

I think the restaurant is closed. I ordered door dash from here and the driver said there was a notice on the door. They don't answer their phone.. so I'm guessing it's not open?

Bayou Shrimp is a cajon seafood restaurant where you wear a bib and gloves so you don't smell like the food you just ate! I came here for my mom's birthday and we shared the Royal pot that serves about 2-3 people but ended up enough seafood for the four of us. We also shared a side of fries and a couple pieces of garlic toast. Food: All of the seafood was excellent. It was tender and the cajon masked most of the taste. The french fries were on the salty side. Next time I will ask if they can lower the salt level. Service: The service was decent. We were explained the menu and our options since it was my first time there. Ambiance: It isn't the nicest of places, but definitely comfortable enough to enjoy a nice family dinner. There are a few TVs on the wall, and I don't recommend it for large families or for young children. My family said they enjoyed the ambiance here better than some of the competitors in the SGV. Parking: It is located on Raymond, so there is a parking structure near by, or you can park on the street. Even though I don't have much to say, my family agreed that we enjoyed our dinner was decent. I don't know if I'd come back because cajon seafood is not my to-go, but I would recommend it since my brother and mother said they'd recommend!

I love the Garlic Scallop Vermicelli here. Next time I'm just going to have two orders because six is not enough. I've also had the shrimp, it's very good but it is a pain in the a** to peel each shrimp - it's like eating fondue. I feel like I'm rationing food to myself eating this way. I'll probably (most likely) come back because I also LOVE the coconut pudding!

Finally the staff was terrific. The cooks were obviously awesome, but Lisa the server really closed the deal! Super attentive and friendly. We'll be back!

Our server was Sharon and she was attentive, patient and helpful with all our questions. We decided on having the Royal in Medium Cajun sauce ($55) and were definitely not disappointed. Wow! It was delicious! I cannot even begin to explain it. The shrimp, crab, mussels corn were perfect. It was not burning spicy but not mild just perfect taste. I highly recommend this huge plate for 2 or 3 people. Parking...if you are not from the area bring change or download the app to pay on the street. On the corner of Green and Raymond there is public parking that is 90 minutes free. Enjoy!

I'm not sure how long ago this place opened, but it's a nice alternative to Beer&Claw down the street. It beats the prices by a mile, and the food is equally good if not better. Our shrimp was huge and flavorful! You know how sometimes as soon as you peel the shrimp, all the sauce flavor is gone with the shell? You definitely won't have that problem here. Flavors were soaked through. The sausage was also amazing, it literally pops as you bite into it and is super juicy! The one thing that really bothered me was the music. The entire time we were there they were playing the same weird top 40s playlist but all of them were covers. By the same girl. And (I'm sorry to say) she wasn't that good. Her voice was playing in my head even after we left. As ridiculous as it sounds, this is actually a strong deterrent from my coming back here!

I visited on a Thursday at 5:00pm. The space is decently sized. I ordered a lb of shrimp which cost $13.99 a lb. and a side of their white rice $2. I got the mid sauce on it. IT WAS SOOOO DELICIOUS! The sauce has lots of garlic, spicy but not overbearing, not too much taste of herbs or sweet. I actually didn't think it was sweet at all. I can't believe how tasty the sauce was. The shrimp were very very plump and perfectly cooked. The service was wonderful, the waitress was very sweet and smiled and didn't bother me until I made eye contact which meant I needed something. I hope this place gets discovered and becomes successful because that sauce deserves it!! The menu also carries hot pots and some fancy drinks. Wish I wasn't full so I could eat it all over again. Hope this review helps their business and answers any questions y'all might have. Cheers!!
