i've been here three times, and while each time the food has been 'fresh' (and by fresh i mean made-to-order, not sitting around under heat lamps), it has NEVER had any significant amount of flavor! i've had three different cooks there, so it must be some kind of policy for them to omit the basics like SALT and other asian spices when cooking. the first time i went there the food lacked flavor, but was fresh enough and included all of the standard veggies you expect. but now that this has happened three times, i'm over it. trust me, the people who are ranting and raving over this place are either flat-out lying for some reason, or they have just never had actually decent-to-excellent chinese food. the place lures you in with the smell of food cooking (and it's sort of an open air establishment), but when you get your order, nothing. no amazing smell, zero seasoning, nothing. it does stay hot though. anyway, the third strike was it for me. won't be back.

The food is good but BEWARE the prices listed on the YELP menu are WAY out of date and triple the price. I brought it to the girl at the front and she said, they don't use YELP and shrugged it off when I said it was deceptive.

Best Chinese food I've ever tasted. I will drive from San Fernando Valley to Pasadena just get me my favorite dish (spicy crispy shrimp). There is no comparison to any other Chinese restaurant. The food is cooked fresh and the service is good.

On recent order I tipped 15%, as you tip here before you get your food. When I got home, half the order was intentionally seriously over salted and inedible. I've been going here for years. Clearly the chef has issues.
