A little pricey for what you get. Dude at the cashier is not friendly what so ever. After I paid for my to go order, the receipt printed out and he was standing there waiting for me to add a tip. Personally, if you want a tip, be polite and friendly. And I believe tips should be given if the service is great or if someone eats in and they have to clean up after them. Not just because.. again, I would have tipped if he was polite even though I’m taking it to goParking: Not much to talk about

Was in Singapore for a while. Developed a chicken rice habit.Finding Hainese Chicken rice that’s good is actually quite hard in the US. This was closest I’ve had yet. Very very good. The garlic peanuts are awesome too.

After an early appointment we found Cluck2Go by chance! So glad we stopped in because this hai nan chicken is wonderful! We were loyal Savoy Kitchen diners for a long long time but after having Cluck2Go, I had to break things off with Savoy! Although the meal comes on a paper plate, they give you a good serving of chicken and rice. We had the original hai nan chicken as well as the fried hai nan chicken. Both were delicious! The appetizer cucumbers was plentiful but was missing a bit of flavor. The fried chicken wings were good but the star of this place was hai nan chicken!

The food is very good, this time I ordered their Hainan chicken rice with dark meat. Portion is huge, and my favorite to add on it is the sweet soy sauce. Next time I’m gonna try fried Hainan chicken.

since COVID I've only ordered takeout/delivery here. Still my go-to Hainan chicken place in town.I finally went back to eat-in recently, and none of the previous problems were there. Actually, quite a good experience. Food still solid. My group ordered comboB which was plenty of food for 4, easily feed 5 if you're not super hungry. You get "1 chicken worth of meat" as opposed to a whole chicken. They ask you if you want white/dark/both and its the same cost no matter what you pick. You get 4 chicken rices, 4 cups of soup (broth with a bit of garnish only, which is how it should be), a sautéed green beans dish (good), cucumber salad (also good), garlic peanuts (great),4 green and 4 red sauces, 2 sides of pickles, and of course the chicken. Everything is served in takeout containers, and sweet soy sauce is on the table. The place is still small but clean, service was friendly and quick, and there's street parking free out front. Service is much improved from my previous visit years ago.Pricing is very reasonable too, can't complain really. Happy to give them 5/5 now. Ive had it in several places around town and they're the only ones to deliver the whole package, consistent, tasty, and good value. If I had to nitpick, their green sauce could use more scallion but its still good. Not quite the Hainan chicken rice from Singapore, my benchmark, but about as good as it gets around here. This is not fine dining, or even fast casual. Its more of a takeout spot that has some seating, barely more than a counter-service place. so given all that, its great for what it is.

First time there with friends. New favorite place in the city. The ultimate comfort food, especially with the chicken broth. The most tender chicken I've ever had combined with delicious pickled veggies and chicken rice (the rice! was flavorful and perfectly cooked)Amazing and will be coming backParking: There's a lot behind the back with about ~12 spots

My favorite spot for Hainan Chicken rice, the only bad thing about this place is they don't have more chains.

We order from here consistently because their Hainan chicken (A+) is that good. It's tender, flavorful, and juicy. They also are not stingy about my favorite green onion sauce like other places. When people are in town, we always order the family pack here either combo A or B and it's always a hit. Parking can be found on the street easily but try to go anytime before 4:30pm if you can. Servers are all delightful and easy to speak with. Place is clean and well kept.

Pretty good chicken, and even better sauces. My advice: order extra sauce.

If you haven't tried hainan chicken, you got to try this spot. I got Combo A to share which comes with half dark and white chicken meat, rice, peanuts, cucumber, soup, and the beloved sauces. The chicken was moist and tender, and the ginger scallion sauce was so addicting. If you're looking for a quick and easy meal, Cluck2Go is a great option.

The food is fine. And I never expected this place to be authentic , but it’s really annoying when the waiter insists how their way to cook is the right way to cook 海南鸡饭.Plus, this place marked their closing time on 9:00pm but the waiter refused to serve dine in customers since 8:10 (ball figure). Not very pleasant.

ROTTING CHICKEN IN THEIR DUMPSTERI live behind this establishment and we have submitted several complaints to the city of pasadena regarding the rotting chicken smell in their dumpster. We can’t open any of our windows or sit in our backyard without gagging from the smell. Do something to fix this ASAP, you are making pasadena SMELL

Came with a friend . Unfriendly staff . The place is small resembling a fast food restaurant . Food was edible , service was trash asked for a to go box and cashier shew'd me away . Cleaned my table to help because I'm a server and understand restaurants very well . Payed for my food and same cashier followed me out because I didn't leave tip . I'm very well versed in hospitality and feel disrespected when people think they deserve a tip and did nothing to deserve it .Not even explain the menu or greet the guests . Feels like your bothering the employees.
