My friends and I came to Congregation after a work event to have 1 drink. 1 drink turned into 3 hours of so much fun and good times. we had amazing service!! Kyle is the best. He made us feel welcome and even though he was very busy he made us feel special and taken care of. Very attentive and so much fun! Definitely recommend.

Ok, let's start with the service. Our server Yecxy was top notch! She was basically running the whole place and was doing so efficiently. The rest of the staff could learn a thing or two from her. She made sure our large party was taken care of, despite being overwhelmed. She deserves some praise from the management because without her hustle, we would have left. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is great. We loved the patio and it accommodated our group of 15 nicely. The drinks were standard, but good. Sit in Yecxy's section to make sure you have the best experience.

Kyle was a great server, he brought us tasters and pork rinds. Very friendly and interactive! Pic is of the margarita flight, the strawberry one was my fav.

Our server Kyle is king! He was very attentive and knew his way around the menu guiding us to great food decisions despite a busy St. Patrick’s day crowd outside. Get the queso fundido and asada tots for the win. FYI asada fries are on the menu but he know about dem tots.

This place used to be a really cool destination for great craft beers, good service, and a unique, curated aesthetic. But since the change in ownership it's fallen off a cliff, turning into a B-grade sports bar with a terrible atmosphere (TVs everywhere, top-40 music blaring overhead) and seriously mediocre food (the ONE exception was our cocktails, which were great, but didn't make up for everything else). I just dropped $155 on dinner for four that was *maybe* worth half that much. I can't speak for the other Ale House locations, but this one is a goner, and we won't be coming back unless someone returns it to its former glory.

Maybe going on a Friday night was a bad idea. Maybe Kyle, our server, just had too many large groups of drinkers to tend to deal with something as trivial as a food order. Either way, his service SUCKED. Having to ask someone with short-term memory loss for everything 3-4 times and being ignored is not good for business. I was cool when Kyle dropped part of my order on the floor, but to not bring a replacement until I was literally packing up my leftovers (in the containers I ended up asking a different server for because Kyle just could not bring himself to fetch those the three times I asked) and ready to leave is also not going to encourage me to come again.

The Diablo burger was really disappointing. It was badly burnt and didn't have any spice. The fried chicken burger wasn't burnt but it didn't taste right. The sweet potato fries tasted really good but they were undercooked. The painkiller tasted amazing but it came in a small glass half filled with ice that really watered it down. The tables were all sticky and the seats all had crumbs on them but the most frustrating part of it was how long the wait for everything was. Getting someone to take an order took a long time, so did getting a drink and even the check. I want to like this place but there are so many problems with it I don't think I will be back any time soon.

Words cannot describe how much Congregation has fallen off since the change in ownership. We have been regulars for over 10 years of the old format; celebrated birthdays there, even had meetings. Gone is the high quality gastropub menu and in its place is cheap, microwaved Mexican food that pales in comparison to the taco trucks down the street. What once was a celebration of craft beers is now an abbreviated menu of corporate owned taps. Happy hour, once cheekily called "mass" is now only 4 days a week and not on Friday--which we came specifically for. You're prompted to scan the menu QR code which has lower pricing than posted in the restaurant. That is literally illegal. It was dead in there for a Friday night (due to all of the reasons I listed) yet the owner sat back and let his ONE bartender run around serving every table. They won't last much longer in a congested bar scene that offers nothing to entice you to return.

Food is good and the server was super-nice. Made for a great experience. The place looks just what an ale house should look like as well.
