I just came across this place yesterday and I'm honestly sad I didn't find it sooner! I was driving up Sierra Madre Blvd when I became intrigued by a sign reading "Yerba Mate Bar" and naturally insisted that my husband veer off the road so I could check it out. When I walked into this small shop I was met by the sounds of bossa nova and a cozy bar with a colorful yet chic aesthetic. The place has a chill vibe that is perfect for reading, studying, creative work, or just hanging out with friends. I enjoyed chatting with the owner, Juan, who is a very friendly and cool person and who has excellent customer service. When it came to the food and drink, I had high expectations, which were quickly exceeded. Everything is made with fresh, organic ingredients, so the food and drinks are not only incredibly clean, but also unmistakably delicious and refreshing. I enjoyed the cold brewed "gogo ginger" mate, draft tulsi mate, and ordered a guava lemonade for my husband--all of them were fantastic. I also thought I'd be indulgent and try a spinach empanada. Let me simply say this was the best empanada I have ever tasted. The pastry dough was the perfect texture and so light (unlike a lot of heavy, stodgy empanadas I've had), and the filling was incredibly flavorful and satisfying. It came with a fresh chimichurri sauce on the side which somehow managed to make it even better. Suffice to say, I can't wait to come back to this spot and treat myself and loved ones. I've already talked my husband's ear off about this place, and plan to tell anyone else who will listen. Yes, it really is the good!

The energy and customer service is top tier. My day wasn't going as planned and I just wanted something to spark my soul. I decided to come to Erva Brew. I am so glad I did! I met Tiffany and we had such good conversation. She explained the history of Yerba Mate, how the business started, and her love for the tea. I watched her prepare my drink with such care. Looking forward to coming again. This is definitely my new go to!

Such a wonderful find! I had never tried yerba mate before but the owner was so thorough in explaining its properties. I love caffiene but can't really digest coffee, but the passionfruit yerba mate was so refreshing without causing jitters. For how fresh everything is, the prices are super reasonable. The Peruvian cookies are so soft and delicious as well :)

If you're in the mood for empanadas this is the place. I've had their spinach, spicy chicken, and pomodoro empanadas. All of them are delicious. Juan the owner never uses Chef 'Mike' but bakes them to order. The crusts are crispy and the filling hot. The mates are very refreshing. I haven't had the chance to try all of them yet. Today I had the iced chocolate mate with oat milk. Wonderful. The owners are super sweet. Very friendly!!! And the cafe is extremely clean and bright.

Super cute little cafe with great drinks and a nice atmosphere. The service is super friendly and welcoming for people who aren't familiar with mate tea. They have wifi so it's also a great place to work for a few hours. Would recommend trying it out!

Erva is awesome. The service is always friendly, and they have my and my husband's favorite flavors as regular offerings (guava and tamarind) which I am soooo grateful for! The drinks are not too sweet, and the fruit flavors are super fresh. One of my absolute favorite handmade beverages. If we drive by during opening hours, it's pretty much an insta-stop. Please stay in Pas forever.

Visited on a Sunday in need of a refreshment on a hot summer day. Katie at Erva helped us make our decision, she was so patient as we picked from all their delicious choices. We decided on the tamarindo and the bartender's choice which I highly recommend. They are sweetened just enough and both drinks had different notes that made it fun to drink. Thanks Katie, we'll be back soon. The parking in this plaza isn't the easiest, but Erva is worth it and there was a parking attendant helping folks find a spot.

This is my FAVORITE TEA!!! Hands down!!!! They’re lucky I don’t live down the street because I’d be there first thing every morning . I’d be the mayor of this store if they had an election lol. Try this place if you see them at a festival or farmers market…. And visit the brick and mortar too!!!!
The cutest Cafe and one of a kind maté bar. The staff is eclectic, friendly and knowledgeable. It's a very quaint vibe and they don't make you feel silly asking about the product, which isn't well known to everyone. By the way, the maté is delicious! I highly recommend the maté latte and the iced ginger lime maté. Great job Erva
