I am so confused by these reviews regarding the owner. I received nothing but the best from Leslie. She was not available on our wedding date and I was really sad about it but she suggested I have the cake delivered the day before. It was so great of her to fit me in and work with me to make sure I got the best damn cake for my wedding. I wasn't sure I wanted a cake but when she sent me samples I literally wanted to have a 6 tier cake so we didn't have to choose. It was some of the best cake I have ever tried! All were amazing. We went for banana creme and coconut passion fruit which were BEYOND. So sad she doesn't have a store front anymore! Will definitely be ordering cake for every anniversary if she will let us!

We got banana and snickerdoodle cake layers with a layered fondant design. The cake was absolutely delicious. Everyone complimented how tasty it was. Unfortunately the cakes fondant design did not match the reference image even though our wedding was in the evening with cool weather. Also our florist was not allowed to place/design our cake florals, even though we did not choose to have the bakery design the florals. Lastly the bakeries customer service is not the warmest. If you are looking for a traditional cake tasting where you sit and have a happy design conversation go elsewhere. If you don’t care about such things this is a great option for you, because as I said the cake was delicious.

I'm not sure why this place bothers being open to the public when all it seems that they do is make cakes for special occasions. I had to call them when they were opened because being parked in front It didn't seem as if they were open. Blinds closed, no signage of being open. Go through the back and it looks closed, very dim. I walk in and it's so uncomfortable being in there. It feels empty. I used to frequent the area as Copenhagen Pastry used to be there and what a different vibe it was. I walk in because I'm looking for a cupcake/slice of cake (DOTS down the street isn't for me), but they had two different flavor cakes with the option of a whole one or a singlet cake. The woman told me they hadn't been filling the case for a while now. So then why be open to the public? It's just a waste of time for people to come by and be let down. I certainly was.

We got our wedding cake this summer from Fantasy Frostings. I am not much of a cake person and had tried cakes at a couple other bakeries, and I had almost given up on finding one I liked. We got a tasting box from Fantasy Frostings after our caterer recommended them and were SO impressed. The flavors were unique, tasty, and left us wanting more. We ended up selecting their lemon berry and creme brulee flavors, and the cake turned out beautifully. I would order from them again in a heartbeat.

I stumbled upon Fantasy Frosting for a last minute family birthday cake. The cake was good and when our next celebration came up we decided to use them again. I emailed with plenty of time in advance and the owner asked me to come in to iron out the details. I let her know when to expect me and came with my toddler. I thought it would be a quick appointment to put down a deposit but instead I had to wait awhile which was fine. What was not fine was how RUDE Leslie was. I met with Leslie about a very simple cake for a child's birthday. I had emailed pictures so she knew what I was looking for. The baker came out from the back to assist me since I was holding my child and waiting for Leslie and said it was easy peasy, not a problem. Then Leslie dismissed her to take over and finish out my order. I agreed to the astronomical price she wanted to charge me, I agreed to any alterations that needed to be made to make the cake I was requesting including providing any of the embellishments for the design so all that was left was simply assembling the cake and some simple piping. I was about to pay the deposit when after 45 mins Leslie tells me that she knows when she doesn't want to work with someone and that she doesn't wish to work with me. I was so pleasant and accommodating to her even though she spoke so harshly and aggressively to me throughout my entire encounter with her. As I left she laughed about it to another customer. I was absolutely shocked and saddened that someone was ok treating another person that way. I've worked with plenty of vendors both personally and professionally and I've never experienced someone going out of their way to be so unkind. It all worked out in the end as I found the kindest and most talented cake sisters to work with. I will never recommend this place to anyone because no one deserves to be treated so poorly.

Heather was really nice and helpful. The location wasn’t busy they were closing. The location was clean and cakes look yummy. Got a flight to try the flavors. The chocolate cake has white frosting. The cakes are beautiful. The white satin is delicious. The cream brûlée was ok. Strawberry champagne would be better with fresh strawberries. Confetti cakelets are better than the slice confetti cake. If you need a cake for special occasion definitely check it out.

Fantasy used to make the most delicious baked treats (including gluten free), but it appears that they have switched over to only making super expensive cakes. Okay, that is super disappointing, but it is their right to change. What isn't okay is speaking aggressively to a customer on the phone. After emailing over a week prior about ordering a specialty cake and not hearing back I called to inquire. The woman who answered stated that they don't check their email everyday, but then, who does? Umm - almost every successful business owner? The woman then proceeded to tell me, with obvious attitude, that there was no way she could take my order because it was less than two weeks prior to the event. Well, if the email had been answered, that would not have been a problem. There are too many other bakery options out there to deal with nasty customer service. (P.S. We were able to find three bakeries who could make our cake in the timeline requested. And, the event planner who the surprise party was for, has deleted Fantasy from her vendor list.)

As I read the glowing reviews, I feel like Kate McKinnon's character, Mrs. Rafferty in the SNL alien abduction skit. (YouTube the skit) My experience was very negative. The staff person had my sister and I wait 10 minutes as she worked with a customer/friend chatting about personal issues. We were not acknowledged until the friend left. We inquired about cakes for a 100 person party. She gave us very terse answers and did not seem interested in our business. This was confirmed when she quoted us $500 for a half sheet cake. Leaving shocked, we then went to Takes the Cake and received excellent service. We ordered two beautiful and delicious 1/2 sheet cakes for $110 each.

Worth every penny! All of the girls were so helpful and attentive, worked with my budget & made me feel super listened to! i got a lemon lavender cake and let me say LIFE CHANGING! leslie convinced me that this was exactly what I was looking for, and oh my goodness was she right! I wasn't sure what kind of flavor I wanted for my birthday cake I just knew I wanted something fruity but not super sweet and this is exactly right on the nail! I felt it was a reasonable price for what I was getting, and they explained the pricing for all customizations which made me feel like I wasn't in the dark. I asked 1 million questions and they answered all of them without hesitation ! I will be going to fantasy frostings for all future desert needs!

Zero stars. I have absolutely NO idea how this bakery is in business. My sister and I had to deal with the meanest, rudest person we've ever come across, and we have never been treated with such disrespect. First off, she wasn't organized. Didn't ask my name or know who I was, she assumed I was her 1:45 PM appointment, when I arrived at 12:10 PM. She asks me "so is this a birthday cake, a wedding cake..?" And I said "it's for my wedding?" Puzzled because she is the one I made the appointment with over the phone, she just got right into it and didn't confirm my name or appointment time.. she asked me about flavors so I told her, I already picked 3 of them out with her over the phone and right away, SO SNIPPY with a mean look on her face. "Well yeah I know, but what about the other 3 flavors?" She proceeded to act like a know it all and when it came down to it, she brought out a completely wrong order for a completely different customer. Maybe before she assumes that I'm a different customer, she could ask my name first? That might've saved her the all trouble, confusion and bringing out the wrong flavors of the cakes. She was upset with ME because my cake tasting was set for "pick up" and not a "sit down" with the cake designer... I don't understand why she was so rude to me when she's the one who wasn't doing her job correctly. It's not my fault she cannot execute her business properly. She finally puts her pride aside and asks me "You're not Andrea????" I said "no, my name is Justine" then when we finally had that settled, she brought out the boxed cakes, sat them on the counter (rudely), looked up at me and said "OK do you have any questions for me?" With the most passive aggressive smile that you could imagine... me being intimated but still taking her up on her offer of answering a few questions, I asked her about the photos of the cakes on the iPad she showed me in the beginning of this disaster, asking if those are the cakes they offer, she very RUDELY and very LOUDLY said "those are the cakes I'VE made" maybe when handing me the iPad she could have given me context. She said "here are pictures of the cakes" and walked away... so after she said that, I said "oh ok" and asked another question, "so you do custom cakes?" And her reply was "what do you mean custom?" I'm not sure if she is just that incompetent or was really trying to just give me a hard time... I said "custom, to my liking, whatever I want" and she told me, again, in the most passive aggressive manner "WELL, not if the artist isn't available then NO." with the ugliest, meanest smile (very sarcastic) My sister and I were in complete disbelief. I am a bride just doing my cake tastings, I did not deserve any of that, I walked in their establishment with a smile on my face, so excited for my first cake tasting... when my sister and I left that place, we sat in my car, and it all just hit me, what I just went through, this mean woman made me cry from having the absolute WORST EXPERIENCE ever, I am getting married at Noor and they have Fantasy Frostings as a "preferred vendor" but after I speak with Bridgett Ann, I believe that they will no longer be apart of that list because such an awful place with such mean cake designers should NOT be associated with Noor and quite frankly, they don't deserve it. The WORST customer service. This lady radiated the most toxic energy. No one will ever convince me that someone this CRUEL AND MEAN can make my wedding cake with love. Nope. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. It's not fantasy frostings. It's NIGHTMARE FROSTINGS. Do not come here, you will be treated like absolute trash. By the way, It's JUSTINE, not Andrea :)

Fantasy Frostingsmade the cake for our microwedding. We received personalized attetion direct from the owner, who was nice and friendly. We were able to have a tasting of all the great cakes they offer. Our cake was so beautful, excactly the way we wanted and was delicious. The cake was definitely something that stood out to our guests. I highly recommend Fantasy Frostings!!!
