I recently dined at Gale's, an Italian restaurant recommended by a friend. We made reservations for a party of 6 a week in advance, and the restaurant was accommodating and promptly seated us upon arrival. Our waiter served us bread with oil and vinegar as we perused the menu. We ordered a total of 13 items, and requested the dishes to be brought in courses, which the waiter happily obliged. For starters, we enjoyed the flavorful Mussels in white wine sauce, which paired perfectly with the bread. The Prosciutto and Melon provided a simple yet satisfying protein option, while the Carpaccio with goat cheese impressed us with its thinly sliced meat and complementary flavors. Moving on to the salad courses, the Roasted Beet Salad and Rustic Caesar Salad were both refreshing and well-balanced.The pasta dishes were a highlight of our meal. The Rotini Bolognese featured a rich Italian meat sauce, while the Pasta al Forno delighted us with its creamy meat sauce and cheese. The Portobello Ravioli, stuffed with crab and shrimp in a cream sauce with wild mushrooms, was a standout dish that left us wanting more. Each pasta dish was bursting with flavor and paired excellently with our wine selection. Overall, Gale's provided a delightful dining experience with delicious food and attentive service.Towards the conclusion of our meal, we indulged in the 13th and final course—a generously portioned pizza that satisfied our group of 6 adults. This delightful creamy white pizza, topped with mushrooms and olives, boasted a thin crust with toppings evenly distributed on every slice. Our experience at Gale's was undeniably exceptional. The waiter's precise timing between courses enhanced our enjoyment of each dish. An additional highlight was the reasonable $20 cooking fee, and the added touch of live music on Friday evenings.A standout feature for me was the presentation of fresh dishes and utensils with each course, elevating the dining experience. In summary, I enthusiastically recommend Gale's as a warm and inviting spot for genuine, home-cooked meals that evoke a sense of dining among loved ones.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary dinner, and we were very impressed! We decided somewhat last-minute to come to Gale's, having driven past it countless times over the past 10+ years we've lived in the area. It exceeded our expectations in every regard. Our server was attentive, the atmosphere was sophisticated, yet lively and comfortable. My husband had the branzino and I had the sausage and ravioli special. Our food was fresh and delicious; I can definitely see us going back for the exact same dishes. We also greatly appreciated the fact that we felt respected as customers. There were no hidden or surprise charges tacked onto the bill. The prices were commensurate with the deliciousness of the food and the size of the portions. We got to decide that our server deserved a nice tip; this was not suggested to us or automatically added to our check. The quality of the wine, appetizer, entrees, dessert and service were definitely worth every penny, and we will absolutely be back!

Tried Gales again after a very long time. The chicken picata was excellent, just like I remembered. Same interior decorations and friendly staff. The prices are about the same as other good restaurants. I enjoyed our trip down memory lane and will return again.

Always an outstanding meal but too long a wait for a table. The hostess did her best but some people stayed past their meal time to sit and chat while 15-20 people are waiting to be seated. Very inconsiderate of them but nothing the hostess could do.

I was shocked that being an Italian restaurant I would think that the cooks know how to cook pasta correctly. I specifically requested to the bar tender that I like my spaghetti to be cooked “ al dente” and was really looking forward to my linguine scampi be prepared as requested . DISAPPOINTING. Pata was OVERCOOKED and the noodles cut too short. This is not the first or second time it's happened. I stopped coming for the same reason an wanted to give it another chance, but unfortunately the food is no longer as consistent and delicious as it used to be.

Salmon club sandwich lunch special was great. Outdoor seating (converted parking area) is pleasant and quieter than inside. Service is attentive. A really nice place to meet friends for lunch. Parking is sometimes difficult to find. Allow a few extra minutes to explore surrounding streets

Great dinner from start to finish with delicious food! Service was fantastic and sat under the heated tent. Alittle noisy with a full house and our puppy enjoyed being the center of attention!

Per usual, we really enjoyed the food, and the staff is excellent. Unfortunately, we were seated at a table at the back of the room next to a poorly screened off area where servers were making a great deal of noise, and where we could hear the very loud sounds of what I assume were cleared dishes being returned to the kitchen. The place was packed and we were later told that the dining room was quite understaffed that night, so I suppose and certainly hope this subpar experience won't be repeated. We were a few minutes late for our OpenTable online reservation but I had called to let them know, so I was a little disappointed to end up sitting at such an uncomfortable table. Again, we usually absolutely love dining at Gale's. The salmon and shrimp risotto was great. And my guest always orders the scampi spiedini when it is on the menu.

Great food - excellent service- our waiter Raul met us, gave us some time to sit and relax - took our drink order and gave us plenty of time to discuss our choices without making us feel like the next party was standing there waiting for our table. We had a wonderful, relaxed dinner. Thank you.
