This restaurant is super cozy and chic . I tried this location on tomahawk Tuesday ! What a great deal it was you get two empanadas , tomahawk with two sides which are the smoked potatoes and gaucho veggies . Let me say the empanadas were delish . I tried the Al pastor and chicken with cheese . The Al pastor had such a great Smokey taste I dreamed of them lol . The steak was delicious well seasoned. The steak and empanadas are the star of the show. Sadly the sides didn't live up to expectations. I think this deal will benefit better if we were able to pick our own two sides ‍. Overall servers were nice and friendly . I'd definitely return for the empanadas . Enjoyed my watermelon smash you can tell the juice was fresh

We walked in the night before Mother's Day and were luckily seated within minutes! The atmosphere is very pleasant, all the decor, the walls, the ceiling, etc. add to a comfortable mood. Service was also efficient, though nothing above and beyond. The Tomahawk Ribeye was out, so we ordered the Chipa (cheese balls), Ojo de Bife (ribeye steak), Gaucho fries, and mashed potatoes. The cheese balls came in a plate of 12 and were so good but so incredibly heavy, my goodness. I could only eat one with the heavy butter cream and needed a lot of water to wash it down. The steak, unfortunately came out very well done on the edges and barely medium rare, which we requested. It was also unfortunately very "stringy," for some reason. Overall, this was a good experience but nothing great or close to the best steakhouse experiences I have had.

This Argentine steakhouse cultivates a modern blend of Argentinian and other Latin dishes. The ambiance when you first walk in it is very warm and elegant. We came here for my sister's birthday and it was all of our's first time. The prices of their entrees are on the more expensive side but my family and I ordered the Meat Parrillada and it came with Lamb chops, tenderloin, New York strip, and short ribs and it was PLENTY. All four of us got full and still had leftovers to take home. It was very delicious I personally enjoyed the lamb chops a lot but what made the meat so good what their chimichurri sauce. My family and I could not get enough of it. It came with the bread they served and they had a spicy and regular version of it and we just had to keep getting more. If you and ur party feel like sharing and saving I recommend doing what we did.

The restaurant has free parking structure in the back. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We didn't have a reservation but they were able to seat us. To start their table setting is so cute with the printed napkins. We started off with a drink. We don't often see Pisco Sour on the menu in the US so when we saw they make it we had to try. It was great! Dinner came with bread and chimichurri sauce, spicy and non-spicy. We tried the steak with a side of grilled vegetables. Everything tasted delicious. Staff was nice and would come out and check on us once in awhile.

Came here on an early Friday evening . Place wasn't that busy. We were seated right away at a little booth . It took 15-20 before anyone came over to take our drink order or bring us water . The young gentleman finally took our order and I watched him make our drinks at the bar. Was he the bartender serving us or our waiter ? Then the water came then the bread came . All by different people . Strange situation and felt chaotic . Food: we ordered : Short Rib empanadas- it burnt . The inside didn't have much filling and the outside was inedible . Prawn &Heart : was good, fresh and dressing was flavorful. Short rib entree - ribs were a bit over done , hard to chew. Milenesa - beef. Dry , dry and did I say dry. Gauchito salad - excellent. Steamed veggies - extremely soggie. Food was mediocre. Service was terrible. I'd like to give this place another shot but not sure I'd drop $150 for meh food.

I love Gaucho in Pasadena! I feel like I'm home here. The staff are supper nice and provide a world class service. The food quality, timing, temperature, and presentation is close to none. And, I specifically, enjoy the way Cata treats all guests and entertains them by talking about the items on the menus and talk about different languages and cultures. When I come to Macy''s, I have to have lunch or dinner here, then go shopping.

Tasty happy hour food but the service was poor. I was there before the rush, there was hardly a guest in the place and yet I had to ask for everything. Too bad, we just moved in around the block and didn't get the welcome expected. But no worries, we'll hit Gale's or Parkway Grill next time where the food and the service are terrific

Delicious food and okay service. The Skirt Steak was tender and cooked to perfection. The dining room needs to be dusted and cleaned better. The furniture is standing in dust.

This is the best steakhouse, period. I was kind of hesitant to try this place since I know they have multiple locations and those restaurants could be just all about the location and ambiance. But I was so surprised how each dish was so perfect. Empanadas were freshly made there. It was the best empanadas I've ever tried. Steak was perfectly charred and seasoned. Very juicy and Flavorful. Spicy chimichurri was out of this world. Amazing. Cheese bread was warm and fluffy. So much better than all those Brazilian BBQ places out there. Pasta was so fresh and flavorful. It was like that good homemade Mom cooking. Desserts? Don't even talk about it. So good. There wasn't a single thing on the menu that wasn't good. And that's a very hard thing to do. I'm not going to any steakhouse or Brazilian BBQ anymore. I'm coming here.

Went to this place recently and the service was horrible. I asked for water 3 times from 3 different waiters until I had to walk up to the bar and ask them again with the pitcher in my hand. I find it crazy that they apparently had so much time to cater to the other table right next to us; asking them how they're doing about 10 times we were there. In the meantime they didn't have time to get us water, nor ever asked us how we were doing. The food was good and would possibly go back for that. But the service was really disappointing.

If you like to wait 1.5 hrs in an empty restaurant you'll love it. I was wondering why it was so easy to get a reservation on a Saturday night and pretty quickly found out.

1 star and I'm being generous. The best thing we ordered at an Argentinian steak house was a salad (lol) and it was mediocre. The tomahawk steak was terrible. No flavor, no texture, so chewy and hard to cut.. oof one of the worst meat we've ever had. In comparison we've had the tomahawk at cut in Beverly Hills and it was amazing. We got the side of mushrooms with it and it was disgusting. We also ordered the T-bone that came flattened (they do that to make it tender) and it was as rubbery as a tire. Again, no flavor, no salt, fighting it to get a slice. And lastly we ordered the sea bass, plain and unmemorable like everything else. It came with the saddest side of steamed veggies I've ever seen. It was so unappealing no one touched it. We left with most of our plates still intact and no one had the decency to ask us why (because they probably know the answer). On top of it all, service was terrible.. maybe understaffed? Don't be fooled by the reviews like we did, don't go. The only family member that enjoyed the meat was my dog.
