This is our goto local chinese food place. We've tried a few in the area but this is by far better. The owner's a really nice guy. I'd especially recommend the Kung Pao Chicken, the Mongolian Beef, and any of the fried rice dishes!

This place is worth giving a shot. They have large portions for fair rates. Consistently neat and with excellent mood. I highly recommend this place.

I use to recomend this place to everyone, this place use to be good until the closed to remodel then when they reopen it was so sad how the menu changed for the worst, prices went up and the food just isn't the same. No more lunch or dinner specials. I use to go there 4-5 times a month. I don't and will not go back anymore, that's how much of a change there was.

This food was terrible. We have gotten food from Grandview for over 20 years and loved it. Now we can't even eat the food. The Kung Pam Chicken was bland with no flavor, let alone have any spice. The Won Ton soup was interesting. It had no won ton's! It too was bland and had much lesser meats than before, and mainly had both chow. Bad bad change in the restaurant. So sad!!!!!

The best food, love how they make it just how you ask for it.

Very disappointed! Kung pow chicken did not taste good at all. Not like their usual. Taste was bad I could not eat it. On a scale of 1 to 10 it was a 3 at best. Some of the chicken was hard like it was throw in the wok while when I was ice cold. Flavor was off. It didn't taste like Kung pow chicken. Our other order of food , was below standard as well. Flavors were off, and not good. A 3 at best on scale of 1 to 10 Overall the food was nasty, we ended up throwing both orders of food away. If you want your business to succeed you have to improve your cooking and flavors Grandview, you lost me as a customer

I ordered chicken chow mein, egg drop soup & a side of egg rolls. Everything was really good, well portioned & well priced. The food was hot & ready when I arrived for my pickup. Everything was super yummy & not greasy which sometimes happens at other places. The woman who took my order was also really nice. Looks like they updated their menu after their renovations. There's a lot of good lunch specials. I'd try anything on their menu.

Portion size are small now which is not worth $12 for the lunch special. They give you 70 percent rice instead of the main dish. The container to go change too since the Covid-19 smaller portions.

This place did a remodel recently, and also got a new menu. Grandview Palace is a Chinese restaurant that has been around Pasadena for a while and I am surprised it does not have more reviews. The Lo Mein is tasty and the location is convenient. I always have a pleasant experience at Grandview :)

Been coming here for years. They had a spot over on California and Fair Oaks. This spot is OG as well. The food is fantastic, the war wonton soup is delicious and my favorite is the orange chicken. You won't be disappointed
