I feel like I'm taking crazy pills but this place is not good, especially for the price ~$80/person. The salad was average. The bass or whatever with tomatoes was so bland, the tomato sauce was decent but the rice was watery, really needed to be fluffier and stickier. The pasta bolongnese sauce was very good, but the quality of the pasta again was lacking...tasted a bit under cooked. I would be less critical but tasting the tomato fish/rice, both me and friend thought we were being scammed. The price definitely didn't help. There are so many restaurants close to this that's $20-30 less for much higher food. I'm sorry very disappointed. People need to be more honest with their reviews.

Amazing food, ambiance, wine, and staff! Tucked away on Holly St., a few blocks over from Colorado. Old town local vibe. Super chill. I've been trying new restaurants in the area and decided to pop in early on a Fri nite. Got a seat at the counter overlooking the chef preparing all the meals. Ordered a rose, very tasty. Short ribs with mash potatoes. Amazing! I will definitely be back to try more things. Highly recommend. We really don't have anything like this in Pasadena.

Very intimate restaurant. The food was excellent. Mushroom risotto was filled with savory mushrooms and fantastic cheese. Morning catch sandwich was black cod and scrumptious. The cubano was very generous. And do not miss the fries!! We came in a Sunday morning, I tried to order 3 different drinks they were out of all. I settled on water and had a fine time.

Literally such a good place. I'm glad I found it. The pasta was... soooo good. I'm tempted to go again this week. Karina the server/floor manager is amazing. The ambiance is so cute and great energy. Take your next date if you want to have killer cacio e Pepe and good conversation. Really special and they should be proud of their work.

I just had lunch here for the first time and this spot is another great addition to the Pasadena restaurant scene. The cacio e pepe was delicious. I'm excited to come back again and try a few more things on the menu.

Ambiance: it was very bright with glaring lights, music too loud, and big screen television on. Although the chef turned down the lights after a bit, it was still too bright. I had very high hopes, so I suppose whenever we are expecting something, we set ourselves up for disappointment. To be fair, the food was great. But. If I leave a 5 star review, everything must be impeccable. I wanted it to be. It was not. The glaring tv should have been my greatest warning factor. I think perhaps Holy Saints just needs to work out a few kinks, but if vibey atmospheric awesomeness is what you're after, this is not your spot. Honestly not trying to be mean or hurtful but I am being brutally honest.

Give this place 3 Michelin Stars already. WOW...little heard of but up and coming restaurant. The chef & owner is a former chef of a very well know Michelin star restaurant in LA. Risotto, beef ribs, soup, fries, etc...all perfection. A small place with stellar service so come hungry with an open mind. Chef Daniel will likely be one of the best known up & coming chefs in the US very soon with Holy Saints.
