I went with my family for dinner. Our server, Marcelo, was very attentive about our needs and wants. The food was very tasty, but it took a while for all of the food to come out. My grandpa’s beef teriyaki was also all gristle, very tough and chewy. However, they brought out a new one free of charge for us that was much better. Overall it seems like they’re still getting their footing, but still just as solid as the previous location.

I believe this is a restaurant under new management. The new owners have turned this place around and have really modernized it without losing the traditional Japanese culture. The fish and sushi are fresh. The service is very good with management checking on your experience afterward. I like the fish collar, and they don't stock a vast amount in some freezer as they get them fresh daily. It's a must have if you can get it before I show up. ?Parking: It can get busy during the day with the other businesses in the plaza, but evenings are a breeze.

I hadn't ordered from them for a while...and was I surprised. $33.00 for 1 roll and 2 pieces of sushi. Had to break into my 401K. Won't be doing that for a long while. I know that prices have gone up for everything, but really? It tasted o.k. but I was hungry a while later.

Excellent service Food was delicious. Atmosphere was trendy, hip & comfortable. Portions are not skimpy. Great value for the money. Definitely recommend giving it a try! PS The beef teriyaki was a bit more tender than the chicken teriyaki.

Food in this location is the same quality as other locations I tried. Just okay. But for the price then it is what it is and I am satisfied I. Parking is easy. I am very disappointed with the green tea ice cream. They put chocolate on top of the green tea ice cream (which I have never seen before) which over powdered the mild tasting green tea.

This is my first time going since they moved from Hastings Ranch Pasadena . The new facility looks like a Denny’s restaurant for breakfast an it feels the same too .It’s not the ambiance of the general kabuki restaurant look. The price is way more then the other kabuki restaurants we went too. I was very disappointed .
We went for the first time, my 6yr old absolutely loves sushi (CA rolls and such) not real sushi yet, but we went because the kids wanted to go since it's grand opening. It was everything we hoped for and more, the service AMAZING! from the moment you walk in until you leave. We absolutely loved our dinner, the time we spent there, the freshness, the family friendly atmosphere, just all around a FANTASTIC experience ? We will be returning at the very least weekly ?Thank you!!! ?Parking: Parking options 1) right behind restaurant on San Gabriel 2) Off Colorado right on the side of the front of the restaurant underground parkingKid-friendliness: Very kind servers, the kids received their drinks with a lid and straw, and the modifications requested on their rolls were on point. They ate more than just the rolls though they enjoyed a bit of everything?
